An Act

to amend the

Carrick Hill Vesting Act, 1971.

[Assented to 24 June 1982]

BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the "Carrick Hill Vesting Act Amendment Shortlitlea.

Act, 1982".

(2) The Carrick Hill Vesting Act, 1971, is in this Act referred to as "the principal Act".

(3) The principal Act, as amended by this Act, may be cited as the "Carrick Hill VestingAct, 1971-1982".

1. Section 4 of the principal Act is repealed and the following section is ~~or

4. When Carrick Hill is vested in the Crown, the Government of ~~Ck Hill

the State shall maintain Carrick Hill for anyone or more of the following ~~ne:

(a) as a residence for the Governor;

(b) as a museum;

(c) as a gallery for the display of works of art;

(d) as botanical gardens.
