BE IT ENACTED by the Governor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament:
thereof, as follows : :;
1. This Act may be cited as the" Supply Act (No.3), 1954". ';
2. Out of the Gene~l Revenue of the State there shall be' issued and applied, from time to time, for the public service of ~ the State for the financial year ending the thirtieth day of June,:
nineteen hundred and fifty-five, in addition to any moneys so issued and applied pursuant to the Supply Acts (Nos. 1 and 2), 1954, any moneys not exceeding in the whole five million,

(1) No payments for any establishment or service shall be' made out of the said moneys in excess of the rates voted for $ similar establishments or services on the Estimates for theI
financial year ended on the thirtieth day of June, nineteen ~
hundred and fifty-four, except increases of salaries or wages j fixed or prescribed by any return made under any Act relating

to the public service, or by any regulation, or by any award, ~

order, or determination of any court or other body empowered to :fix or prescribe wages or salaries.
(2) The Treasurer is hereby authorized to pay such increases out of the said moneys.
