UNIVERSITY GENERAL. PRINCIPLES OF SELECTION FOR FIRST-YEAR COURSES
APPLICATIONS
SELECTION
In the absence of special reasons, applicants for admission to a quota who have not yet undertaken a university course will be preferred over graduates. An order of merit list will be drawn up according to the above principles, and places up to and including the number determined by the Board will be filled in order of this list.

STUDENTS ACCEPTED FOR FIXED COURSES
ADMISSION TO THE FIRST YEAR COURSES 1974
Those applicants whom the selection committee may wish to interview will be informed of the time and place of the interview by letter to the address indicated by the applicant on the application form. Applicants will be notified by the VUAC office of the results of their applications and will be advised of the procedure to be followed for accepting offers of quota places.
MATRICULATION ROLL
A candidate wishing to accept an offer of place in the course must accept it in person or through his substitute, or forward a written acceptance to the Secretary of the Faculty of Engineering, before the date stated in the offer. If the offer of a place is not accepted within the time limit, it will be automatically canceled and the place will be offered to the next applicant on the waiting list.
