An Act to provide for the filing in the Office of the Registrar of Companies of certain Documents now required to. be filed in the Supreme Court, to transfer to the Registrar of Companies certain Functions now performed by the Master of the Supreme Court, and to make the necessary amend- ments to the Banking Companies Act, 1863, the Associations Incorporation Act, 1890, and the Public Library, Museum, and Art Gallery, and Institutes Act, 1909.

B E it Enacted by the Goyernor of the State of South Australia, with the advice and consent of the Parliament thereof, as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the" Registrar of Companies (Mis-

memorial, or document, and the issuing of certificates of incorpora- tion under the Associations Incorporation Act,

1890,

shall hereafter be performed by the Registrar of Companies.

3. All deeds, memorials and documents filed, deposited or registered in the Supreme Court before the passin6 of this Act under any of the Acts mentioned in the next preceding section shall be deemed to have been filed, deposited or registered, as the case may be, in the office of the Registrar of Companies, and the Registrar of Companies shall hereafter have the custody and control of the said deeds, memorials and documents, and

hereafter perform all the functions heretofore performed by the Master

4. For the purpose

giving effect to the provisions of section

of this Act the Acts mentioned in that section are amended in the manner set forth in the Schedule to this Act.
