Some things to do Close your left eye. Hold this page away from you~ so that your right eye is looking at the cat.
You will be able to see the dog too. Now move the page slowly closer to your eye~ all the time looking at the cat. In one place you will not be able to see the dog. This is your blind spot.
Did you know
Your eyes are set in fluid to keep them moist.
Everytime you blink you are wiping your eyes clean. Tears come from little obenings in the corner of your eyes. These openings are joined to your nose. This is why you can sometimes clear a speck of dirt from your eye by giving your nose a hard blow.

Another thing to do!
Looking at eyes
For one week take a quick look at all the eyes that come into the clinic.
That's a lot of eyes!
Look at the pupil. That's the black spot in the middle.
The next week look at the eyes and see how
big the pupil is. Then get the person to cover their eyes with their hands for 1 minute.
Look at the pupils again.
What happens?
