NORTH LODGE NEPTUNES
Did you know that up until now there has not been 360+ World Freestyle Relay or National Medley Relay Record set? Four North Lodge ladies, Clarice Artis who is 97 years, Trudy Bullivant 90 years, Nancy Ayres 89 years and Hazel Gillbee 84 years are hoping to change all that.
At the Frankston Peninsula Swim Meet on Saturday 18 August, the ladies are planning to swim two relays. They hope to establish a World Record for the 4 x 50 metre Freestyle and a National Record in the 4 x 25 metre Medley Relay. The ladies are very excited about the prospect of being World and National Record holders.
We at North Lodge are looking forward to this event and thank Con Duyvestyn and his Committee from the Frankston Masters Club for all their support. They have added the Relays to their program which will allow Clarice, Trudy, Nancy and Hazel to attempt these records at their Carnival.
