NWSL JUNIOR AGE SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIPS

Today we played the NWSL junior age at Gladstone Park and all the players were at their best.
Thank you to Ray Price and Terry White for allowing us to run this event at Gladstoen Park and Terry for helping with the presentations of the trophies to the Winner and Runner Up players.
A particular thank you to the Anne White in the canteen who provided food for the players all day.
Events were conducted for A, B, C, E and Novice grades.
Thank you to the players for marking and reffing allowing the event to run smoothly. A special thanks to all the players who did extra reffing when asked, as we had some very young players who are still learning the rules and I’m sure they appreciated the help.
The next Junior Age tournament will be held at Genesis on Sunday, 6 May. Entry forms will be available ONLINE at our website soon so get in early to avoid disapointment. Don’t forget we have a TIMED tournament following TAP/TDS training coming on March 25 to be held at MSAC.
The Australian Junior Open this year will be held in Canberra and I would like to wish all the players going either with the Tour Group or as an indvidual the very best and hope they have a good time.
