Your course Year 1

After graduation, you can return to complete the remaining 12 units (or equivalent) from your second major to gain another qualification. To pursue a second design degree, this second major must be an approved set of eight units from a Bachelor of Design (Honours) primary major.

Study overseas

Taking a second major in one of the six design disciplines also allows you to obtain a second degree*. They can then return to complete units in Interactive and Visual Design and graduate with a second design degree in Interactive and Visual Design.

International Course structure

Please note: This is not a double degree, as it is not taken simultaneously with the first degree.

If you pursue a second major in one of the six design disciplines, you also have the opportunity to obtain a second degree*. On successful completion of this course you will be eligible for admission to the Master of Design (Research), provided you meet the entry requirements.

Professional Recognition

The minors give you breadth of knowledge from two other areas, while the second major provides depth in one area. And remember - your second major or minor can be film, creative writing, music, visual art, drama or other disciplines at QUT.#
