NARRABEEN TRACK UPGRADE UPDATE

Narrabeen Track Upgrade News provided by the Sydney Academy of Sport and Recreation on Monday 12 March 2018 The installation of the solid layer of the new track is now complete.

On Friday 9 March, Polytan started the final layer. If the weather holds they will complete the track surface by Wednesday 14 March.

The line marking should then start Thursday 15 March and will take 5 days to complete. Then the installation of the running rail and site clean which will take approximately 3 days.

The revised completion date for the full Track Upgrade including all Long Jump approaches is Friday 23 March.

EDITOR’S NOTE: There has been some rain since this 12 March

update and further rain is forecast for this week.
