An Act to apply, out of the General Revenue, the sum of Four Hundred Thousand Pounds to the Service of the Year ending the Thirtieth day

E it Enacted by the Governor of the Province of South Aus-

^tralia, with the advice and consent of the Lcgislatire Council and House of Assembly of the said province, in this present Parlia- ment assembled, as follows :

1.

year ending the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four, any sums of money not exceeding in the whole the sum of Four Huniired Thousand Pounds: Provided that no payments for any establishment or service be made in excess of the rates voted for similar establishments or services on the Estimates for the year ended the thirtieth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-three, except so far as such rates are modified by the Civil Service Act, 1874."
