GENERAL
On the advice of the Student Assessment Review Committee and with the approval of the Chair of the Board of Studies of the Board of Education or nominee, students may be offered an opportunity to take another unit in place of the failed unit where such a unit is available . Students who accumulate failures in excess of the limits in TABLE 3, regardless of whether such failures are later redeemed, may be liable for expulsion.

The college processes applications for all other BCAE courses. !cond Semester admission: Occasionally, a second admission is accepted in the period May June with lectures starting in July. No subsequent change to the assessment program is permitted, except by mutual agreement between the lecturer(s) responsible for the unit and the students taking it, and only if approved by the relevant head(s) of department; normally such adjustments must be completed by the end of the second week of the semester. Any cash 1stay, field trip or other specific requirements for satisfactory completion of 1nit must be specified in the assessment requirements.
EDUCATIONAL SERVICES
Where necessary, training in the use of the Resource Center's equipment can be arranged with the staff. The Resource Center's overall policies regarding circulation services are described in the Resource Center Guide.
COMPUTING SERVICES
The Manager of Computing Services is responsible to the Chief Executive for the implementation of the computing policies and plans adopted by the College. 1st work of the Computer Services Unit is carried out by the three functional divisions that it incorporates.
SOURCES OF ASSISTANCE
The members of the College Computer Users' Committee are the six leading boys of the local Computer Users' Groups. The staff must ensure that the interests of the students are in the attention of the relevant group.
THE UNION
Staff in the Union Office are able to direct students to someone who can help them with TEAS questions. Services are not a static thing, so students should check notice boards, JO A, ECAE and notices in Union offices for news.

Member' means a member of the Executive of the Union as defined in Part Vil - Section 2 (a) and (b) of this Constitution.
1 ART 111- POWERS AND OBLIGATIONS
EXTRAORDINARY UNION COUNCIL MEETINGS (a)
At least seven days notice shall be given to representatives and executive members for each meeting of the Council of the Union, provided that additional business may be received at any time before the commencement c. An extraordinary meeting of the Union Council may be called at any time on the request of any of the following:-. i) Student meeting on campus, (ii) Executive Director of the Union,. iii) any seven members of the Council of the Union, (iv) any thirty members of the Union.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE UNION
For each campus student meeting, at least seven days' notice must be given in the form of a meeting notice from the campus secretary or acting campus secretary. Extraordinary campus student meetings must be notified of at least four days.

The standing committee of the media - convened by the media officer, who must be chairman and consisting of the media organizers from each campus;. Sports Standing Committee - convened by the Sports Officer, who must be chairman and consisting of Sports Organizers from each Campus.
Provided that nothing herein shall prevent the payment in good faith of interest to such member in respect of moneys advanced by such member to the Union or otherwise owed by the Union to such member, or of remuneration to any officers or employees of the Union or to any member of the Union or any other person in return for any service actually rendered to the Union. Provided that nothing herein shall be construed to prevent the repayment to any member of out-of-pocket expenses and interest or money loaned or rent of goods or rent of premises furnished to the Union.

UL TURAL ACTIVITIES
The College's Dance Company, Momentum, provides additional performance experience for select students, with seasons of performances in the Woodward Theater and community venues. Regular concert performances by artists, staff and visiting students are held in the Mus Building, Kelvin Grove Campus.
CENTRES FOR PROMOTION OF RESEARCH AND LEARNINC
All other appointments are by secondment or on a limited time basis of members of the College staff and outside agencies. The center is currently engaged in a number of joint projects with the Queensland Department of Education, the Australian Department of Social Security, the Schonell Educational Research Center and the Department of Psychology of the University of Queensland.
ESEARCH AND LEARNING CENTRE IN READING
The Center also runs various professional development programs for teachers under the auspices of the Queensland Department of Education and the Queensland Professional Development Board. Reading Center - Mount Gravatt Campus: The Reading Center, located on Level 2 of the Main Academic Building on the Mount Gravatt Campus, opened in November 1979.
