Welcome to the third edition of the “Wood pecker” for 2018.

It has been found in the past that such a publication has been invaluable to people who do not have access to either website or face book.

It is hoped that during 2018 that team results, social activities, events and general news can be distributed via this format.

“Wood pecker” will be available via website and in had copy from team managers.

“The Clubs future is in your hands”

The club has recently applied for six grants from different organisations:

Charles Sturt Council; Office of Recreation and Sport; Stockland and Holden.

We’re asking for new female changeroom facilities for players and officials, and for increased security provision as well as a new solar system.

New pitch lights are also on the cards and a grant for programs and equip- ment, and also a new honours board and a bunch of new fridges and freezers.

We’ll keep you updated on how we go.

Every Thursday is ladies day which runs from 11am until 1pm. This is open to anyone with or without experience.

We do hockey and then have a cuppa and a chat. Several that have come for the first time have had fun which is what the day is about.
