11.6 Linkages with the Institutes inside the country

BPATC as the apex training institute ·in the country maintains close· liaison with other training institutes and conduct activities in cooperation with them. Notable among them are Graduate Training Institute(GTI) Mymenshingh, BCS(Admn) Academy, Bangladesh Academy for Rural Development (BARD), Camilla , Rural Development Academy, (RDA) Bogra. The Centre has formal collaborativ~ agre~~ent with GTI. Intense linkages have also been established with other training institutes of the co~ntry in relation with the conduct of foundation training.

These institutes are Planning and Development Academy, Institute of Education Extension and Research(NIEER),

National CERDI,OTI

Railway Academy. BPATC also maintains close connection with Universities and other research institutions.

For establishment of the linkages BPATC did not recieve any assistance from the Project. For making BPATC a centre of exc~llence in Public Administration intenses linkage with development and training institutions at home and abroad need to be made. BPATC also need greter authority in the respect.
