Tiles city currently employs over 25 people, all of whom hold the same high moral and social standards as the company. Mostafa Kamal, Professor Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship at Daffodil International University and she suggested me that the topic of my report would be "Activities of Tiles City" which is relevant to my work experience.

It will also improve the interaction with the real business environment and give them a practical understanding of the entire operation of Tiles City, which is necessary for students to confront the ever-increasing barriers in the labor market. In this report, the scope of the organizational part covers the organizational structure, background, products and services, and the overall performance of Tiles City as a whole. This report helps me understand the clear real-time experience of Tiles City's business operations.

I spoke to the authorities and managers of Tiles City Savar Branch and got the relevant data used and given in this report. Secondary data was obtained using company brochures and leaflets; additional relevant information was collected directly from various business divisions through interviews; and books, magazines, publications, buyers and workers are also used. But, I face the following issues, which can be called limitations of the study.

Time limitation has become a major problem as the duration of the internship was only three months. It is quite difficult to get all the accurate data about their activity limitations from different employees.

At the beginning of the business process at the beginning Tiles City received a representation from the company. After that, the company delivered the product with its own transport or sometimes the tile city picked up the product with its own transport. Offer high quality products: Tiles City always offers high quality products at minimum cost than competitors.

Satisfactory Business Growth: Tiles City has been doing business successfully since its inception in 2006 and its business growth is very satisfactory. Skilled Top Management: The management of Tiles City is extremely efficient and always makes the best decisions for its consumers. Local Business Loyalty: Tiles city has so many loyal customers as they have been doing business in the area for a long time.

Wide variety of products: Tiles City has the opportunities to provide a wide variety of products. Tiles city can easily introduce any new product to their customer because they have a good relationship with the dealers. Fast Delivery: Tiles City can deliver the product very fast because they have their own transformations.

A strong economy indicates that the buyer has enough money and allows them to buy the product they want rather than the product they just need. Sales of city tiles will decrease, but unpaid bills will also increase. However, since Tiles City is a retail and wholesale business, the environment has little effect on it.

Tiles City estimates the amount of capacity or supply needed to meet demand based on several basic facts. Tiles City predicts time series using trend analysis and seasonality analysis for several attractive reasons.

CHAPTER-05

Finance and Accounts

  • Financial Activities
  • Social Responsibilities

Purchases of real estate, goods and machinery, as well as loans to others, result in cash outflows. A balance sheet is a financial statement that shows the value of a property, its creditors, equity financing, total debt and other financial data at a specific point in time. On one side of the balance sheet are the assets and on the other side the liabilities.

Total revenues are the sum of operating and non-operating profits, while total costs are expenses incurred in primary and secondary operations. A statement of cash flows, also known as a statement of cash flows, is a financial statement that describes the amount of cash and cash alternatives coming into and out of a business. One of the three basic financial statements that show how much money was generated and spent over a period of time is the statement of cash flows.

By demonstrating how money enters and leaves the organization, the cash flow statement links the balance sheet and the income statement. The statement also shows whether business organizations make a profit or a loss in a given period. Corporate social responsibility suggests that companies should operate in ways that help society while maximizing shareholder value.

Socially conscious companies must implement policies that improve the well-being of society and the environment while mitigating negative impacts. Companies can be held accountable in a number of ways, such as encouraging volunteers, making environmental improvements and making charitable contributions. Customers are actively looking for socially conscious companies where they can purchase products and services, which impacts their profitability.

Tiles City is dedicated to corporate social and has engaged in numerous community projects as well as offering assistance to a wide range of organizations and individuals. Tiles City has made big changes in people's lives and has had a big impact on the community in which it operates.

CHAPTER-06 FINDINGS,

RECOMMENDATIONS AND CONCLUSIONS

Findings

Lack of proper storage: Tiles City lacks secure warehouses to store its products. Before being exhibited in the showroom, the product must be stored in the warehouse. If Tiles City can't manage a secure and well-placed warehouse, it could face some big problem at any time.

Lack of adequate transportation: Tiles City does not have an effective transportation system to deliver items to customers. If they do not treat customers well, they may lose a large number of customers. If this happens continuously, they can lose so many existing customers as well as new customers.

If a major problem arises when a customer chooses the tiles and he or she faces a problem, it will damage the reputation of his company. If more money is tied up in businesses, they could face a capital crisis.
