About the Training:
The online training aims to enhance the capacity of female students to design a social business model for promoting peace, social cohesion and COVID-19 resilience. Upon completion of this training, the participants will be able to:
Understand the basic features of an entrepreneur and business planning canvas
Understand the concept of market, value proposition, revenue generation and linkage/network and partnership development
Understand the meaning of leadership, management, peace and cohesion and their inter-linkages
Identify the social problems and innovative solutions
Design and manage a socially responsible enterprise
Identify customers/beneficiaries and their true demand
Design innovative product/services as well as process
Identify business risks and mitigation strategies

Centre for Peace and Justice, Brac University is pleased to invite applications from interested female students of University of Dhaka (DU), Begum Rokeya University Rangpur (BRUR), Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam
University (JKKNIU) and Brac University (BRACU) to participate in an online training on “Women
Entrepreneurship for Promoting Peace and Social Cohesion” under the ‘Securing the Peace Off and Online Project’, funded by UN Women
Training Period: December 2020 – February 2021
Target audience: Female Students of DU, BRUR, JKKNIU & BRACU
Deadline of application submission: 16 November, 2020 Successful candidates will be notified through SMS and Email
Currently enrolled female students of DU, BRUR, JKKNIU and BRACU who did not receive this training earlier from CPJ BRACU
Minimum 3-6 months experience of voluntary work or extra-curricular activities
Potential leadership ability with innovative ideas
Interested to work for a just, peaceful and inclusive societies
Has a compatible device (e.g. smartphone, laptop, desktop) with an internet connection
