Introduction
Due to the high level of population in this mega city where around 12 million+ roam and live in this city, congestion and pollution is normal in this city so traffic accidents are normal here and as urban arterial roads are very attractive for drivers of vehicles. a large variety of vehicles coming on the urban waterways will cause traffic jams or possibly cause traffic accidents. Vehicles on arterial roads should be forced to reduce the time period and number of stops. The goal is to achieve a smooth flow of vehicular traffic on major arteries, Green Wave Control is an arterial traffic coordination system that combines traffic signals from intersections with arterial roads to match any red light or less while driving with a certain speed.
In other words, traffic signs at adjacent intersections turn green in a certain time sequence, like a rotating "green wave".
Traffic Jam in Bangladesh
Transport System
Intersection
The shape is much easier, the traffic organization is convenient, the street corner building is easy to handle, the scope of application is wide. No need for parking, saves time, reduces traffic accidents, improves driving safety, simple traffic organization and. It covers a large area, the vehicle speed is lower and the traffic volume is not large.
There are a large number of intersections and the construction costs are much higher than that of the common level. The costs are high, the land coverage is wide and there are certain technological complications involved. Stakeholders say that awareness among people and proper design of intersections can reduce these types of accidents.
Flyover
According to a study conducted by Accident Research Institute (ARI) at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, a total of 307 road accidents occurred in Dhaka's 54 busiest intersections between 2009 and 2015, claiming as many as 198 lives and leaving 103 others injured has. . So we can say that traveling in Dhaka is nothing but a nightmare as the roads have become a death trap for many people. To reduce the traffic jam and increase the passing value of the vehicle, this is the most important thing.
The flyover is not only used to increase the flow of highway traffic in the country, but also reduces the traffic time for all the remaining traffic on the level. It also provides options to pass over the obstacle without obstructing the path below it, which is more time for passengers.
Problem statement
The purpose of this road design is to connect two points in busy areas or roads and road intersections.
Objectives
In this era, modern technologies have become a bigger part and established themselves in people's lives, in terms of vehicles and roads that connect at the same time. We need to realize that there is a big problem in urban cities where noise and congestion have a greater impact on people's lives and pose health risks and problems, especially in cities. So, the way we can overcome and find a solution, we can introduce EVs which are electronic vehicles on the roads, noise pollution and traffic jams would be greatly reduced and people's lives and living standards would be greatly increased.
So pollution and global warming will be drastically reduced by involving EVs in the market and roads.

Researchers say that the traffic situation in Dhaka may be improvised, but little has been achieved in this regard [2]. It is true that the road of Dhaka is inadequate compared to all the big cities of the world. So many speed limited areas like school, collage, hospital, highway, construction zone where vehicle speed can be controlled.
In Bangladesh rural area, most of the road is off-road, in the field the vehicle driver must use the low speed and save from the road accident. It sounds unpleasant but not only in Dhaka the whole country is full of undisciplined drivers who have no respect for traffic rules. Survey says that this year between January 1 and April 20, 1841 died and 5447 were injured in road accidents.
About speed of vehicle and reckless driving responsible for accident. as many speed restricted areas as school, collage, hospitals, highway, construction area where possible should be controlled vehicle speed. in this area a speed limiter sign must be placed by the authority. a standard speed limit must be enforceable .in. The government changes the speed limit within time, while needs in the recent authority declared the speed limit on highway across the country at 80 km/h, it will be 50. The capacity of traffic passing a point on a highway in both directions during an average day of less than a year (or design year). It is the average of 24 hour traffic volume at a given location for some spell that is less than a year (a month, a week or a few days).
This was calculated by dividing the number of visitors during a certain period by the number of days in that period. It is the most common method used by agencies: the total amount of traffic passing a roadside observation point during a calendar year divided by the number of days in that year (365 or 366 days). It compares the traffic volume during the 15 minutes of rush hour to the total volume during rush hour.
The traffic police should give warnings to the drivers for possible punishment in case of breaking the traffic rules during the fourth and fifth months.

For the development, we collected a preliminary data of three working days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday) and converted it into a single data. We heard about an app where we can easily collect values from home but the app was not available in the play store or any other online portal. We have collected the videos from them for the data collection so that we can develop the project area using VISSIM software.
We have divided the thesis area into three parts namely Kallayanpur, Gabtoli and Mirpur to easily collect our data. Kallayanpur section, Gabtoli section, Mirpur section we counted traffic volume data for each intersection for three days. To calculate the volume of traffic, we divided four time periods per day, namely from 7:00 to 9:00 (morning peak), 11:00 to 12:00 (morning off-peak), 15:00 to 16:00.
It's software that helps us extend our microscopic design simulation into a stable test environment, no matter how we choose to use the traffic simulation software, and it's also flexible. For example: Above we can see the route between A and B which is for Mirpur 1 to Gabtoli and 1 to 2 which is for Kallayanpur to Gabtoli. We access easily so we worked in this version but there are some limitations where we can only run the program for 600 seconds.
For the simulation we need the (.inp) file and for data collection we used the (.mes) file.

- Findings
In this chart we can see the pre-development vehicle pass value for 600 second simulation on the Kallayanpur leg. Here, we can see the passing vehicle values for the Mirpur leg and it is also for the 600 second simulation. Where we can see the largest amount of vehicles passed on this leg is [Bus=53] and the values for other vehicles are [car=26, Bike=28, NMV=51].
If we compare this graph with the graph before the development, we will see the development in the passing values of the vehicles. In this section we compare pre-development and post-development data for the Kallayanpur leg. From this data we found improvement in the data after development where we use an overpass for development.
Here we can see a good expansion for car and a better development for bus and the passage value of NMV vehicles is low because for the development we have closed the flyover for 'NMV'. Where the post-development data for car, bus, bicycle is much higher than the pre-development data. On the other hand, half of the vehicles cannot pass due to the closed flyover road for 'NMV'.
So we can say that this can be counted as the development for the Mirpur leg. So the result shows us the difference between these two data where we can clearly see that post development data is higher than pre development data. We find that after this development it will be more comfortable for users to use the flyover.
