LSI is a dynamic phenomenon that includes all the regular cycles at the land-ocean interface and the interrelationships in this area during human activities. According to Asprogerakas et al. 2020) the interaction of development processes and strategies for terrestrial and marine areas must be taken into account when managing LSI. The ports of Chittagong and Mongla, the two existing ports, have been regulated by the respective Acts - Chittagong Port Authority Ordinance, 1976 (amended in 1995) and Mongla Port Authority Ordinance, 1976 (amended in 1995).
The Paira Port Authority Act, 2013 has accelerated the establishment of the third port in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Navy was formed to maintain the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our oceanic zone under the Navy Ordinance, 1961, and its amendments viz. The Navy (Amendment) Ordinance, 1977. The Bangladesh Coast Guard has recently been formed under the provisions of The Coast Guard Act, 1994 to ensure regular patrolling of the maritime border of Bangladesh.
The southeastern region extending from the great river Feni to Badar Mokam, the southern tip of the main land. This part is more or less unbroken, characterized by flat mud and sandy beaches, a natural degraded mangrove forest in the estuary area of the Matamuhuri River.

Fishing Area: The Bay of Bengal is the largest bay in the world which has unique biodiversity with a diverse number of endangered and vulnerable species. There are about three lighthouses in Cox's Bazar district such as Kutubdia Lighthouse, St. To ensure the national security, a total 4/5 military training area has been designed in the maritime space of Bangladesh.
In a recent study, three solar panels are available in the coastal belt of Bangladesh such as Teknaf, Cox's Bazar. There are several fishing lanes in the Bay of Bengal connecting the ports of Chittagong and Mongla. Contradictions between the use of coastal land and the use of sea space were found in the considered area.
Marine Protected Area is very essential for endemic fishes and protects the species that will emerge in the future. Oil pipelines and shipping routes and navigation and dumping sites are in strong conflict with the interaction in the study area. DEM's view of Kutubdia Island is shown below (Fig. 7), which is widely known for its sandy beaches.
This unique muddy island of Moheshkhali is characterized by a hilly area and the relevant DEM structure is shown below (Fig. 9). On this island, the highest point (60 m–82 m) was covered by only 0.2% (Fig. 10). the total area (Moheshkhali island). The digital elevation models of the coral island of Sint Maarten are shown in (fig. 12). On this island, the maximum height was 14 m within the range of 13 m - 14 m, covering an area of approximately 0.36% of the total island. The contour lines of Cox's Bazar along with the important islands are shown in Figure 13 to Figure 16.
Development and planning of the district to achieve use and activities to highlight the city in the world. New trawl area is very crucial for catching fish within the fishing grounds as well as in the shrimp grounds. So establish and protect the desirable species that suggested a sanctuary area in the study area.
The Saint Martin Island Coral Research Center was proposed in this study area to explore the island's coral resources. Tourism is the best source of development of the socio-economic condition of a local area. In the framework of land-sea interactions (LSI), the development of tourism has a profound impact to ensure the blue economy in this country.
CHAPTER FIVE DISCUSSION
- Present uses and activities of the study
- Potential uses and activities of the study
- Conflicts analysis
- Mitigation of conflicts
- Contour
According to this study, potential activities can be started in this region such as trawling area, shipping routes, aquaculture, port, lighthouse, aquaculture, sanctuary, coral research center, solar panels, tour spots, etc. As this study was conducted for the assessment and identification of conflicts between the coastal land uses and Maritime Spatial Used along the 12 nautical miles of a selected area in Bangladesh, 3 major conflicts were found (No conflict, weak conflict and strong conflict) and some others were not identified. This study recorded about 225 interaction problems, where land-sea interaction without conflicts was 79, weak conflicts were 61, and strong conflicts were 60.
According to Stancheva et al., (2017), for the Black Sea Burgas study area, a total of 16 different coastal land uses and 22 sea uses were identified, where land-sea interactions without conflict were 44, weak conflicts were 100, 16 strong conflicts were identified. and 192 there were no interactions between agriculture and aquaculture. With the comparison of Stancheva et al., (2017), the number of weak conflicts was higher in this study and the number of strong conflicts was lower. The most possible reason was fewer activities in this study area than the urban area of Burgus on the Black Sea coast due to geographical and environmental conditions. Another study showed that Tuda et al., (2013) spatial conflicts from the 5 levels of criticism are classified from the lowest to the highest.
Scenes of 5 levels of conflict, in order to assess the spatial dimensions and human behavior that led to conflicts in individual conflict locations, GIS operations were assessed. According to Stanchevaet al., (2017), stakeholders should be identified by providing a transparent overview of the relevant institutions with information on their responsibilities, interests and the relevant contact person. In this study, potential conflict mitigation was identified for conflict resolution along the Cox's Bazar coastal belt.
This study was carried out to view the elevation of the selected area as Cox's Bazar region (Kutubdia, Moheshkhali and Sint Maarten) through Digital Elevation Model (DEM). The maximum height of Kutubdia island was 28 m, while Moheshkhali and Saint Martin islands were 75 m and 14 m respectively. Among the areas studied, the higher point was in Moheshkhali, and the lowest point was in St. Martin.
According to Shafiuzzaman et al., (2006) it was found that at 30 m height, the coastal side of Kutubdia should be stable for small turbines. According to MacMillan (2000) due to the digitization and rapid improvement of height data series strategies, the emphasis of users' desires for height contours has shifted from the desires of accurate height estimation towards the desires of the notion of shapes. of the earth. In this study, the control interval was 10 for Kutubdia and Moheshkhali and 5 m contour used for Saint Martin Island.
