I started my observation with English 2nd paper of class VI. Before I entered the classroom I asked the teacher for his permission to observe his class. The teacher welcomed me gratefully. I saw a good number of students were present in that class.
After entered into the classroom teacher introduced me to the students and tried to make me feel comfortable in front of them. The students also showed respect to me. After a while the teacher started to teach them about some rules of article. He discussed almost twenty minute about article. All the students were very attentive during teacher deliver his speech. Then teacher asked them to raise hand those who did not understand his lecture and the rules properly. I saw none of them raise their hand. Then the teacher wrote down 20 examples of article in the board and told them to fill the blank with proper article.
I noticed, except few students all the students were very active. Almost everyone finished the work within 10 minutes. Though some students were messing up during class but the teacher handled it in a smooth way. Thus I completed my first class observation.
The second class I observed was of class VII and Around 40 students were present at the class. It was English 1st paper class. The class started at 11:30 am. This time classroom was different than the previous classroom. All the students were very calm and quiet.
The teacher came and asked them to write one paragraph out of three. He wrote down these three paragraph’s name on the board, three paragraphs are (1) A farmer (2) Tree plantation (3) Street beggar. I noticed maximum students choose a farmer and street beggar. During check their script we found Most of them wrote same lines in their paragraph and that’s prove everyone memorize from the same book. Teacher told me that’s the problem now a day’s students are just memorize and for that they are losing creativity skill.
It was a great experience to observe the students of class VII. The teacher was very friendly with me and his lecture was very clear and effective.
Class Observation 03:

The last and third class I observed was of class IX. It was English Second paper Grammar class. Around 35 students were present in that class.
The class was about Tag question. The teacher came and started to talk about what is tag question and some basic rules of tag question. The teacher was around 50 years old. After finished his lecture he started to ask question one by one. Besides asking tag question he also asked them what tense is it. After that he gave exercise of tag question from the grammar book and told them to form a group of five person each group. I saw the teacher emphasize on group work very much. After 15 minutes he started to evaluate all the group works and marked them all.
It was a quite engaged class I have ever had. The teacher was very friendly with all. I gained lot of knowledge of teaching strategy from that class.
My first teaching experience was with class VI. It was English 2nd paper class. At first I went to the teacher for taking his permission to have a class with them. The teacher grant my urge.
I was little bit nervous and was unable to maintain eye contact with students. But after a while I become normal and started to talk with them. I asked their name first and what is their aim in life and many other things so that they can take me friendly.
After introduction session I started to teach them Tense. I defined what is tense and its types.
I explained what is present, past and future tenses. Then I gave them some examples. I tried to give all the examples in a simple way so that they would not get bored. I found some students were making noise during the class. I simply told them to stop making noise and coming back to the lesson.
It was first ever teaching experience of my life. I had 40 minute to take this class, later I felt I wish I could have more time to teach them.

to know from previous class observation that many of student’s in this class do not know how to write a paragraph without memorizing. I just tried to teach them some strategic ways that will help them to write any paragraph without memorizing.
I told them, before writing any paragraph just think about the three parts. The first part is introduction, second one is body para and last one is conclusion. After that I gave them a paragraph to write a rickshaw puller. I gave them 20 minutes to write this. During check the scripts I found many of them did very well and some student’s did very badly. I think those who did badly they do not have sufficient vocabulary knowledge.
That’s how I finished my second class experience on that day. It was quiet good feeling for me that I could teach them something beneficial for them.

My last class experience was with class IX. I entered the class room with class teacher. After
question. That’s why I decided to take a lesson on this. I taught them some words are like seldom, rare, hardly, few, little, scarcely, no sooner these words are negative that time question tag should be affirmative. I noticed many of them are scared of grammar and that’s why they were asking me too much question which proves they are not confident enough on themselves. That time I tried to inspire them in many ways. I also gave them example of myself that I was also weak on grammar, but I did lot of practice and that’s how I overcame this problem. I told them to practice grammar more and more at their home, and then class was finished.
The class was quiet enjoyable for me, because all the students were very polite and well manner. That’s how I finished my last class experience.

Overall findings
a) There is no doubt that the academic system and the campus environment of the school provides quality education. The classrooms are quiet long and have enough natural exposer which proves a positive academic environment.
b) The students are very obedient and very well manner to the teachers.
c) The class teachers use too much Bengali in the classroom which is a negative sign to me. I think if teachers use 100 percent English in the classroom that will be more beneficial for the students.

d) There were some naughty girls in the classroom who are not attentive at all in the class. Some students did not want to co-operative with the teacher. But most of students are very polite and gentle.
e) The Academic facilities are in quite satisfactory level. Classrooms are so bigger and there was good ventilation system with proper circulation of air and day light.
Recommendations
I would like to strongly recommend that, the school should make a digital classroom
Students sometime do not understand teachers’ speech properly. They should be aware of their accent, language and speech.
Conclusion
This project work has provided me with an opportunity to gain experience in teaching English in a school. It is really so useful. It was a life time experience I have ever gained. I have learnt many unknown things through this project. I learnt many teaching strategy which will help me in my future career. After doing this project I got to know that, actually teaching profession is not so easy as we thought. A teacher does a lot of hard work in the classroom so that students can learn lessons properly.
