We are truly grateful and wish our deep indebtedness to Masud Rabbani, Associate Professor, Department of CSE Daffodil International University, Dhaka. Deep knowledge and great interest from our supervisor in "A Mobile Application for Hospital Information" to carry out this project. This project titled "A Mobile Application for Hospital Information" is an application to provide hospital information to Bangladesh which can efficiently and effectively guide the patients.

The users can use this app for different purposes like finding information, location, website, emergency number, hospital category, hospital rating and doctor information in a hospital which normally I could not find in standard Google. The main motivation behind "A Mobile App for Hospital Information" is to provide a useful way to find any hospital information. In this project we made a simple search system that can help people to find any hospital information.

We create name wise search system and location wise search system that helps people to find the nearest best hospital for them. In our application, the user can easily find the location of the hospital with Google map. Every user can rate a hospital and every user can see this. so patients can easily choose their exact hospital. Some are private hospitals and some are public hospitals and each hospital service is different.

For this reason, we think to apply for the people who can provide the correct hospital information, location, doctor information and hospital rating for better service.

  • Logical Data Model
  • Design Requirements

Daffodil International University 7 Figure 3.1 shows the flow diagram of the business process model in our project. In this figure, we show a flow diagram technique that models the means of an organized business process from start to finish. This can be functional and non-functional requirements analysis is the method of determining user exception in a new system.

Functional requirements are related to the technical function of the system. Our system has many functional requirements, such as searching for hospital information by name, searching for hospital information by location, hospital rating, finding location, finding website, direct calling system, logging in via Google account and maintaining database. Non-functional requirements relate to safety, viability, versatility, quality and ease of use. Only the administrator can enter and change information. The user can access this application and give a hospital rating.

A logical information demonstration is a fact model of an individual problem area communicated freely by a specific database element or receptivity innovation, but as far as information formations, for example, hospital list. Our application has a database part and in the database part we store all user and hospital information. Our project is completely designed to work with a specific problem statement and product, system.

We use such type of authentication because our application is a public application and we think this authentication will be easy for them and make them safe. We have a design profile system that displays name and user information and shows the rating previously given. In our application we create a kind of user interface that will be easy for all types of users and allow them to find the information easily.

In our project we design whole things as an English font and all information and all important code in our application. In my application user can search by name and place and through Google map they can see the direction.

Chapter: 4 Design Specification

  • Front-end Design
  • Back-end Design
  • Implement Requirement
    • Android studio
    • Android SDK
    • Java Development kit (JDK)
    • Android virtual Device (AVD)
  • Interaction Design and UX

We believe that our app user interface will be easy for all people. All users already have a google account and they easily log in with this google account to use our application when they want to log in, they click the Sign in with Google button then they. When a user selects search by name and searches for a hospital, then our app provides the search result by name.

When a user searches for a hospital or hospital location, our application displays the information about a specific hospital. Daffodil International University 15 shows this hospital and when a user enters this hospital then a user can find all information about this hospital. When a user wants to go to the hospital website, our application opens a browser to display the browser.

Find website for a hospital and hospital contact number is another important service for our application. When a user rates and reviews a hospital, every user in our application can see this application. In our app there is a menu and here user find log out, profile and share option.

I developed my application using the core code in Java and XML code in our project. Android Studio is easier than other frameworks to develop Android application. I developed my project by Android Studio. We try to keep our application for light and also light for good filling, experience and performance for people to use our application.

IMPLEMENTATION AND TESTING 5.1 Implementation of Database

  • Testing
  • Implementation of Front-end Design
  • Implementation of Java and XML code
  • Testing Implementation

To develop our project, we will use Java Core to connect to the XML file, using the Firebase database to store user data. We use XML code to create a text view, button and some other things for user interface design. They give me advice on how to make our application simpler, developed and user-friendly.
