The thesis entitled ''Observation of Solid Waste Management System at Daffodil International University'' by Abdullah Al Mamun (ID Rifat Ahmed Tutul (ID Raisur Rahman Shaikat) has been accepted as satisfactory in partial fulfillment of the. This is to confirm that this project and dissertation entitled “Observation of Solid Waste Management System of Daffodil International University” has been done by the following students under my direct supervision and this work has been carried out by them in the following areas of Daffodil International University Ashulia Campus, Ashulia, Savar, of the Department of Civil Engineering under the Faculty of Engineering of Daffodil International University, in partial fulfillment of the requirements for the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. First and foremost, we would like to thank the Almighty for allowing us to submit the practical work and practical report, that led to the Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
Masud Alom, Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at DIU, for his valuable advice, support, inspiration and encouragement as the project progressed. Mohmmad Hannan Mahmud Khan, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, for his constant advice, help, support and encouragement. In addition, we would like to thank all our friends for contributing their knowledge, experience and help in making this project a success.
We would like to thank our loving family for their continued support, as well as for their inspiration and encouragement throughout our time at this university. When students use notebooks and pens, they can be thrown away because they need to be thrown away after being dropped. We discovered this by mapping our university's waste management; we received 100% positive responses, 0% negative responses and 0% neutral responses.
The study concludes that waste management is the human control over the collection, treatment and disposal of various wastes.

- Introduction

Waste management deals with all types of waste, such as industrial, biological, domestic, municipal, organic, biomedical and radioactive waste. Directly, through the disposal of solid waste, and indirectly, through the consumption of water, soil and food. 4] Waste management aims to reduce the negative effects of waste on human health, the environment, planetary resources and aesthetics.
Waste management aims to reduce the hazardous effects of such waste on the environment and human health. Municipal solid waste, generated by industrial, commercial and domestic activities, constitutes a significant part of waste management. Consequently, from the point of view of circular education, it is necessary to design solutions that take into account the obligations and interdependencies created between agents related to university waste management and the resources needed to collect, sort and recycle material in plastic take.
Even waste management in the developing world concentrates only where there are high profile people, in commercial areas and so on. Most municipal solid waste management programs spend the majority of their budget on waste collection and transportation, but only 50% to 70% of the waste generated is. Campus staffing levels were insufficient to sort all the waste at the landfill and no additional assistance was provided.
The stages of waste from the perspective of Daffodil International University can be described as the flowchart in Figure 2.5. According to our research, a large amount of solid waste is thrown away and stored after meals in university restaurants. Although the recycling rate of steel cans has increased, the quantity and percentage of steel cans in municipal waste has fallen dramatically over the past four decades due to competition from lighter aluminum and plastic containers.
Construction waste During the construction of new buildings at the university, a lot of solid waste, such as bar steel, is wasted. Because the study is based on secondary data, literature research was an important part of the study. To gather reliable information about the environmental responsibilities of Daffodil International University, a literature review was conducted in addition to a thorough assessment of the current situation there.
This method was used to establish a conceptual framework before conducting a thorough analysis of the survey study. A step-by-step analysis of solid waste issues at the university was carried out, focusing on the target regions.

- CHAPTER 5
Do you have any thoughts on recycling with the waste generated in the university in the future. According to the analysis, this solid waste of the University affected 5% of the population, 90% of the population and 5% of the population was unaffected. Some people have been affected by this waste in the past six months, 41% of people said that on average 1/10 people are affected, nobody 80%, neutral 2%, the management of this Affodil international is correct was yes 95%, no 2%, and neutral 3%, waste affecting your education environment was yes 2%, no 92% and neutral 6%, the way out of this problem can be if yes 99% of the people said improvement of university, no 0%, and neutral 1%.
Approximately 500 kg of recyclable waste is generated by the university every day; employees are affected to varying degrees by the waste generated (yes, 0%, no, 80%), and future plans to improve the university's waste and management are discussed with higher authorities to reduce this waste.
