Admission Notice for M.Sc. Engg. (ECE)
Session: 2020-2021
Applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates in prescribed form for admission into full-time/part-time M.Sc. Engg. program at the Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) discipline under Science, Engineering and Technology (SET) School of Khulna University for the session 2020-2021, subjected to the following qualifications and conditions:
1. Degree Offered
The Master’s Degree to be offered is “Masters of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering”, abbreviated as, “M.Sc. Engg. (ECE)”.
2. Admission Requirements
(a) For admission an applicant must have result as follows:
Name of the examination Required Division/Class or GPA S. S. C. or equivalent First Division or 3.00 (out of 5.00) H. S. C. or equivalent First Division or 3.00 (out of 5.00) B.Sc. Engg. (ECE) or equivalent 2nd class or 2.50 (out of 4.0)
(b) For admission a candidate must have obtained:
Four years Bachelor Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or its equivalent degree from any recognized university/institution.
N.B.: Applicants can also apply using appeared certificate of B.Sc. Engg. (ECE) or equivalent degree.
3. Admission Procedure
A candidate may be required to appear at an oral and/or written test to be conducted by the Post Graduate Admission Committee (PGAC) of ECE Discipline.
4. Duration of the Program
The minimum duration for completion of the M.Sc. Engg. (ECE) program is one and a half academic year (three terms).
5. Course Requirements
The requirement of credit hours to be earned by a student shall be as follows:

** Minimum required CGPA in undergraduate degree is 3.25 out of 4.00.
6. An in-service candidate, if selected for admission, must submit proof of having obtained study leave or deputation from the office of the candidate’s employer to the PGAC before he/she is admitted.
7. There shall be two categories of students, namely, full-time students and part-time students.
8. The maximum number of students to be admitted per academic year is 25.
9. Application form can be collected from the office of the ECE discipline or can be downloaded from the website: <http://www.ku.ac.bd> and the form is to be submitted to the Office of the Head of ECE discipline with a nonrefundable application processing fee of BD Tk. 1500/- (one thousand five hundred only) in cash.
10. Required Documents
An applicant must submit the following documents with the application form to the Office of the Head of ECE Discipline.
(a) 2 copies of attested passport size photos of the candidate.
(b) Attested copies of the certificates and grade sheets/mark sheets/transcripts of all educational qualifications.
(c) 2 letters of recommendations from two referees.
