Course Objective:
The course is designed to enhance the practical knowledge of the students and to make a bridge between the theoretical and practical areas of fabric manufacturing technology.
Weaving:
Study on pirn winding machine, study on direct warping machine an its calcualtions, experiment on sectional warping machine and its calculations, study on different parts of sizing machine and its mechanism. Practical study on shuttleless weaving machines.
Knitting:
Study on the elements of a knitting machine, study on yarn path diagram of circular knitting machine, drawing the gearing diagram of circular knitting machine.
Experiment 01: Study on Lay-out Plan of Fabric Manufacturing –I lab.
Experiment 02: Study on Passage diagram of pirn winding machine.
Experiment 03: Study on Gearing diagram of pirn winding machine.
Experiment 04: Study on Production calculation of pirn winding machine.
Experiment 05: Study on Passage diagram of Plain power shuttle loom.
Experiment 06: Study on primary elements of knitting machine.
