at a glance Mission
The department of Mathematics has basically two wings;
1. Support the requirements of different undergraduate students to develop skills for better understanding of their concurrent and subsequent studies especially in engineering sciences.
2. The other one is its own postgraduate (M.Sc., M.Phil. and Ph.D.) student.
The Mission of the Department of Mathematics is
to produce the students with strong foundation to join advance research in various areas of mathematics.

The vision of the Department of Mathematics is to contribute the nation through quality education and research in Mathematics while promoting an environment in which students can develop a comprehensive and enduring understanding of the concepts of mathematics with the latest computational knowledge using modern equipments and to be a centre of excellence.
