It is with incredible pleasure that I present my internship report on “Impact of Training and Development on Workforce Efficiency in Banking Sector (A Case Study of City Bank Limited)”. It is my privilege that I got the opportunity to intern at The City Bank Limited, at their Islampur Road Branch.
Anamul Haque (CSM) of The City Bank Limited for giving me an opportunity to work with them and gain three months of experience in an internship program at their branch. Training and development programs are the fundamental basic and useful substrate for the advancement of workers. The basic role of the investigation is to comprehensively understand the preparations and progress in the banking industry of Bangladesh and from time to time in City Bank ltd.
In addition, see the current banking industry preparation and improvement program and evaluate a representative performance after the training session. There must be an unmistakable connection between the preparation of electives and the key objectives of the associations.

The aim of the report is to accumulate pragmatic learning about HR and training and development at The City Bank Limited. Training and development of representatives is fundamental in associations in this period of rivalry because of the way associations must endure, develop and create. Preparation is considered as the way to update learning, create aptitudes, realize mood and social changes and improve the student's ability to perform.
In the changing period of the market, all associations have different chances of having and number of difficulties to face. While collecting data about City Bank ltd, staff found insufficient data for the organization's privacy guidelines. Population: Population inspection is the way to take a subset of subjects that are illustrative of the entire population.
Sampling method refers to the rules and procedures by which certain elements of the population are included in the sample. This survey is expected to assess the viability of an organization's TRAINING capabilities and was targeted at the HR manager.

The management of the bank believes that this sector of the economy can contribute the most to the rapid creation of jobs in Bangladesh. City Bank is the primary financial institution in Bangladesh that has issued a dual currency credit card.
The city bank launched the American Express Credit Card and the American Express Gold credit card in November 2009. As part of setting up a personal banking franchise of The City Bank Limited, the bank has successfully launched a personal loan service. The customer can benefit from this credit office at all branches of The City Bank Limited.
Among retail segment banks, City Bank Limited has effectively positively impacted the individual financial fragment. The consistent preparation of representatives and officials is beyond the limit and expertise works consistently. It covers not only those activities that improve work performance, but also those that bring about the glorification of personality; to help individuals progress towards maturity and realizing their potential, so that they become not only good employees, but better men and women. One of the disadvantages of on-the-job training can be low efficiency while workers develop their skills.
The majority of accessible techniques have different dimensions of viability and are used in different conditions. This kind of framework allows the worker to sit down at a PC and become familiar with the essential ideas of the activity in an exceptionally short period of time. One of the advantages of this learning procedure is that the PC program offers various systems through which the individual can gain insight into how.
An individual will be obtained to be in charge of setting up all individuals that come into the association. Towards the end of the preparation time frame, the new workers will more often than not be required to walk through an examination to ensure that the essential parts of the activity are safe. Majority level of education refers to "Bachelor or BBA" which shows a percentage of 62%, 30% belongs to Master's degree and only 6% shows others and the remaining 2% is Bachelor's degree. In terms of experience, 2% of respondents have "Less than 2 years", "2 years-4 years" belongs to the third largest position 16% according to their age, another 16% goes to "8 years-10 years", when many 38 % is from "8 years to 10 years", while the 28% of the respondents in the 2nd place are shown in the table, who have experience of "5 years to 7 years".

There are ten questions and each question represents the opinion of each employee, the survey was made with 20 employees of The City Bank sh.pk. From this question we can see that employees are very satisfied with their current job training. The above question states that employees need training according to the conditions, 50% employees agree, 20% strongly agree, 10% are neutral and 20% disagree.
The data above shows a positive response that they received on-the-job training from their supervisor. Employees are free to express their comments regarding training and development to the management of the concern. From the chart above we can see that 45% of the employees agree, 55% strongly agree, 0% strongly disagree, 0% disagree and 0% are neutral, which means that their training was related to their work.
From the above question we can measure the positive result that the training process and method must be changed. The 15% employees agree, 85% strongly agree, 0% disagree, 0% disagree and 0% are neutral indicating a positive result from the employees. The City Bank evaluates their performance effectively for training selection. There is on the job coaching program where employees are helped to develop their abilities.
Regarding the training environment, the result is positive because the employees get their training environment in their favorable surroundings.

Qualification and training of the individual is very important and related to knowledge management, as proved by Pearson's correlation. The sample size was very small due to lack of time and large number of branches. As always, it was very difficult to convince the participants to complete the survey, as they said they did not have time to complete it.
Sometimes they have trouble understanding the question in the survey, and sometimes they tick without understanding the question. For high employee performance, a well-structured training facility should be developed and easy access to the organization's resources should be provided. Training and development is the incentive that employees need to improve their performance and potential, which in turn will increase the effectiveness of the organization.
City Bank is concerned about employee training and development and requires careful, systematic and planned training activities.
