To ensure international standards in teaching and to provide students with wide opportunities to study abroad or gain international experience, IUB maintains peer relationships with a large number of the world's top-ranked universities and institutions. The School of Business of the University offers the degree of Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) and Master of Science (MSc.) in Economics. The financial guarantor/guardian of the student can come and visit the study advisors to hear about the academic performance of their department(s).

All instructors must log into the Student Attendance page within 10 minutes of the official class start time and submit the attendance form electronically within the next 20 minutes after class time. Re-establishment of this status requires approval from the Registrar's Office, subject to a fee of Tk. Credits earned by a non-degree student will not count toward the graduation requirement at IUB.

The relevant school/department will match the curriculum content with IUB's own curriculum for the target course(s) and accept the transfer. The student must attach official copies of the most recent Academic Transcripts and official course descriptions issued by previous institutions along with the Transfer Credit Application.

GRADUATION PROCEDURE

EXPLANATION OF GRADING SYSTEM

For failing a course, an 'F' grade will be assigned and will remain on the transcript, even when a student repeats the same course and receives a passing grade. However, in order to continue at the University, the student may change majors or schools, depending on the course(s) that are failed. In unavoidable circumstances where students have completed 75% of the classes but cannot continue due to illness or extreme family emergency, instructors are requested to give the student a composite grade based on assignments/tests already completed and any additional assignment/ exam that the instructor feels necessary.

The student must meet the requirement before the end of the following semester in consultation with the course instructor, failing which the grade will convert to 'F'. A CGPA of less than 2.00 will result in the student being placed on probation and such a student should immediately consult his/her academic advisor. If the CGPA is below 1.50 and the student is on probation for two consecutive semesters at the end of which his/her admission to this University is cancelled.

If the CGPA is 1.50 or higher, but still below 2.00, the student is allowed to continue on probation for one more semester. By the end of this third semester in probationary period, the student must raise the CGPA to 2.00 or higher; otherwise his/her admission to this University will be cancelled.
