Having partially fulfilled the requirements for the BBA degree, I interned at “PRAN-RFL Group Ltd”. In view of partial fulfillment of the requirements for the BBA degree, this thesis was completed under your supervision. Prepared as part of the completion of BBA program of Department of Business Administration, Sonargaon University (SU) conducted by Md.

The core objective of the internship is to fulfill the requirements of the BBA program as prescribed by the PU. I successfully completed all assigned tasks and handed over to the senior supervisor at the end of the internship.

Here I can experience and evaluate common occurrences and the probability of theoretical concepts I have encountered in sessions with our learned teachers. For example this report is the fulfillment requirement of the internship program. The report is on Marketing Mix and Competitor Analysis of PRAN-RFL Group Ltd, which is a requirement and important for the completion and fulfillment of the Bachelor of Business Administration program under the Faculty of Business Studies.

It is noted that over time the internship program has become an integral part of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course. The internship program has not only provided more opportunities for fulfilling the requirements of the BBA course but also provides practical knowledge about the respective industrial and business side. The first purpose of writing the report is to complete the component requirement of the BBA program.

The product forms the first element of the marketing mix and influences the other three elements of the mix because of its nature and properties. It is influenced by the purchasing power of the customer and is considered the crucial element in the purchasing decision. It means communicating and convincing the target group – by identifying the needs of the target group segment.

PRAN-RFL group is now one of the largest significant and most successful companies in Bangladesh. We aim to expand our presence to every corner of the world and strive to make "PRAN" a truly international brand to be recognized worldwide. The marketing concept is the philosophy that companies must analyze the needs of the customers and make decisions to satisfy those needs better than the competitors.

To meet these needs, the marketing team makes decisions about the controlled parameters of the marketing mix. Their thinking is to achieve organizational goal with full participation of employees and ensure maximum welfare.

The company's vision is to produce molded home products and decoratively designed plastic furniture at an affordable price. It has exported and marketed in its various countries food, beverages, confectionery and plastics. RANGPUR, Aug 21: TheRangpurDairy (RD) milk processing plant at Boldipukur in Mithapukur Upazila of the district has provided solvency to hundreds of monga-hit poor in Rangpur.

These poor people are now rearing cows at home and selling milk to the factory, the first small private industry ever established in the district after the commission in operation for Jamuna Bridge. Rangpur Dairy Milk earlier took commendable step to support the poor who provide cows one as terms to produce milk at homes which can benefit them financially. He said: “The company aims not only to do business, but also to create a financially sound community in the process.

He also said, "RD Milk has not donated the cows to the beneficiaries for free. They had to pay the purchase price of the cows in exchange for supplying milk to the factories for a certain period. Once the prices of the cows are fully realized, the authority would transfer the ownership of the animals to them ," he said.

Alam Miah at Muradpur in Mithapukur Upazilla who received two cows from RD Milk said that he paid the price of the cow to the company. Managing Director Foqueruzzaman said that the poor people of Rangpur as well as dairy farmers in the district are benefiting from RD. He said the dairy farmers in Rangpur who were in extreme frustration and were on the verge of closing their farms due to regular loss even two years back are now getting profit.

Evaluation of Products of PRAN-RFL Group by BCG Matrix

The retailer of the PRAN-RFL group can produce goods under its own label and develop new brands. PRAN-RFL Group is this idea to discover the most limited time imaginable by new representatives. After my review found that PRAN- RFL Group is trying all ways to follow the Labor Act, 2006.

The PRAN-RFL Group is a truly global brand that is prestigious all over the world in every part of the world and strives for it. PRAN-RFL Group supports meeting the current time requirements of clients and needs its own market which is formed by the marketing department to satisfy the new offices of the clients who are encouraged by advertising. The PRAN-RFL team has shown an unusual desire to look after children, as the monitoring team consistently implements a number of programs for special opportunities for young people.

PRAN- RFL Group as well as numerous event associations for young people and each child food or other costs. Refreshments, treats, plastic and many different items are collected from raw materials made by the PRAN-RFL group. PRAN-RFL Group is the largest food handling and numerous different items manufactured in trade throughout Bangladesh.

Findings and analysis

Major Findings

We found from the BCG matrix that few valuable products are at primary level and have a better chance to enter the market stably, such products are UPVC product, building material, spices, PET bottle. PRAN-RFL company has some products on which it is now stable in the market such products are hot filled PET bottle, pure drinking water, sauce, ketchup and paste. As a well-established company, it has some strength by which it competes in the market and tries to become unique in those areas Strong distribution channel, Human resource, Wide beverage category, The have their own factory, dairy and manufacturing.

For future more successful company, it has some profitable opportunities like export tie-up with multinationals, strong brand image, competitor's weak distribution channel, worldwide franchise business.

Recommendation

Conclusion

The organization delivers and transports organic products, juices, snacks, confectionery, culinary products, dairy products and soft drinks. As of now, PRAN-RFL has set a prize for shipping to the market anywhere in the world. We have a humble job as opposed to different nations, PRAN-RFL provides superior items than others at a lower price.

In this sense, they contribute to our economy by establishing such a company that meets our needs, as well as cooperation in passing. PRAN-RFL earns important unknown forms of money in the country by consistently trading its items. As Bangladesh is an import dependent country, we believe that the progress of PRAN is helping us to have a positive parity.
