Is Qur’an for the Arab Nation only?
---RS
Please take a look to the below verses carefully.
--- 14.1. SHAKIR: Alif Lam Ra. (This is) a Book which We have revealed to you that you may bring forth men, by their Lord's permission from utter darkness into light-- to the way of the Mighty, the Praised One.
43.3. YUSUFALI: We have made it a Qur'an in Arabic that ye may be able to understand (and learn wisdom).
14.4. YUSUFALI: We sent not a messenger except (to teach) in the language of his (own) people, in order to make (things) clear to them. Now Allah leaves straying those whom He pleases and guides whom He pleases: and He is Exalted in power, full of Wisdom.
14.5. SHAKIR: And certainly We sent Musa with Our communications, saying: Bring forth your people from utter darkness into light and remind them of the days of Allah; most surely there are signs in this for every patient, grateful one.

Now, according to the verse 14:1, Allah is addressing to Prophet Mohammed (S) to bring people from utter darkness into light. If so, then which nation was in utter darkness around 700 century? No doubt it was the Arab nation.
According to verse 43:3, to which nation Allah is really addressing? It is definitely to the Arab nation again. The verse is very clear, there is no vague. For an example, lets say Mr. X wrote an article in Chinese and said something like this also in Chinese “I wrote this article in Chinese so that YOU may be able to understand and learn wisdom”. So, through Mr. X’s statement to which nation he is in fact addressing using the words ‘Chinese’ and ‘YOU’? Definitely to the Chinese nation, right. By the words ‘Chinese’ and ‘YOU’, Mr. X is not definitely addressing to Arab, Bengali, Japanese, Indian, Malay, etc nation. It doesn’t make sense. Exactly the same is true for the verse 43.3 (this verse is only addressing to the Arab nation). Yes of course Arabic, Bengali, Japanese, Hindi, Hebrew, Malay, etc speaking people can also understand and learn wisdom from Mr. X’s ‘Chinese article’ provided that they know Chinese. But that is not the point here. The crucial point is that to whom (which nation) Mr. X is clearly addressing through his statement. It will not make sense if somebody claims that Mr. X has addressed to all the nations on the earth through his statement written in Chinese! It is definitely not Mr. X’s mistake. His message is crystal clear. Mr. X is addressing only to the Chinese nation through his clear statement. It is those people who are making mistake either intentionally or unintentionally to make Mr. X’s ‘Chinese article’ acceptable for all the nations on the earth.
Verses 14:4 and 14:5 have clarified the meaning of the verse 43:3. You can have a look to the above four verses carefully and see to which nation Allah was really addressing. Please close your eyes for a moment and ask yourself: does it really make sense for an Almighty/Merciful/Rational Allah that He would expect from all the people of the universe to understand and learn wisdom from a single language, Arabic? According to Quran and Hadith, not only that Allah is expecting but also He will burn people in the hell fire for eternity who will fail to understand His commandments! It is not befitting with Him. Therefore, I think, it is people who are making mistake either intentionally or unintentionally to validate Allah’s words for all the nations on the earth, which was in fact only for the Arab nation.
Therefore, regardless of whether the Qur’an is from Allah or from mankind, we can conclude that the Qur’an is for the Arab nation only.
