Position Title: Training Coordinator Starting from: ASAP

BACKGROUND:
Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ) is a multi-disciplinary academic institute, which intends to promote global peace and social justice through quality education, research, training and advocacy. CPJ is committed to identifying and promoting sustainable and inclusive solutions to a wide range of global concerns and issues, including fragility, conflict and violence. The institute has multiple interventions in Cox’s Bazar under its Refugee Studies Unit (RSU). We are looking for an experienced and self-motivated Training Coordinator for a newly launched project supported by UNICEF according to the below Terms of Reference.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Training Coordinator will be responsible for developing training manual, organizing training & events of projects with the support of project staff. The position will develop and facilitate courses and ToT for the partner organization staff, community volunteers and master trainers. The position holder also will provide capacity building support to the project staff and beneficiaries assessing needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Lead to organize the training events of projects with the support of project staff;
• Conduct training needs assessment, course evaluation and prepare reports;
• Design and develop training modules, manuals and toolkits;
• Develop and facilitate training courses and ToT for the partner organization staff, community volunteers and master trainers;
• Facilitate trainings on social cohesion for the target adolescents and their parents in refugee context;
• Identify and work on the capacity building needs of the project staff and field level trainers;
• Review the training and education materials along with knowledge development support for the project;
• Manage the related field operational aspects such as finance, admin and logistics;
• Communicate the activity related update with CPJ, UNICEF and other related authorities;
• Support the monitoring, evaluation and learning process of the project;
• Assessing needs of the project staff in collaboration with project coordinator and project manager
• Ensure PSEA awareness and related grievance mechanism as per the office policies;
• Liaison with the CiC, Camp’s Site Management, Upzila Administration and community institutes, when it is necessary; and
• Carry on other relevant task as required by CPJ Management
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
▪ Completed University Degree (Post-Graduation) from a reputed academic institution in a relevant discipline;
▪ Relevant experience of 5 years in a similar position will be preferred;
▪ Excellent Command over written and oral English as well as excellent IT skills;
▪ Previous experience in developing training manual/curriculum will get preference.
