EXPERIENCE IN RESEARCH & CONSULTANCY Research

1. Worked as team leader of the project “Analysis of conflict between stranded Rohingya people and host communities in Bangladesh‟s Cox‟s Bazar and Proposing Policy Recommendations for sustaining peace”.

This Research Project is supported by Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and International Rescue Committee (IRC).

2. Conduct a research as Chief Researcher titled “Role of Governance Innovation Unit to protect child Marriage in Bangladesh: Looking for the innovative initiatives of the Government Officials of Bangladesh”. The study is supported by the Prime Minister‟s Office of the People‟s Republic of Bangladesh.

3. Worked as one of the National Consultants in National Integrity Strategy Support Project (A JICA- Assisted Project) Cabinet Division, Bangladesh Secretariat, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

4. Worked as Field Survey Coordinator in early 2013 of the study „Strengthening Fiscal Autonomy and Financial Accountability of Local Government in Bangladesh with Special Reference to Pourashavas/Municipalities (the middle urban tier)‟ funded by CPD and CMI

5. Local Researcher on Public Administration for “Basic Study on Governance Improvement in Pourashavas” under JICA, Bangladesh in January and February 2013

6. Worked as a local consultant in JICA in the project titled as „The Basic Study on Urban Government Institutions and Urban Planning in Bangladesh‟. The aim of the study is to investigate the institutional setting surrounding urban development and planning and identify challenges in the transition from Pourashava to City Corporation and in capacity development of ULGIs. The duration of the study was from 19/03/2012 to 21/03/2012.
