Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), one of the leading private universities in the country, invites applications for a position of Research Assistant in the Department of Life Sciences under the School of Environment and Life Sciences (SELS). The Research Assistant is expected to provide administrative support to the Department.

Requirements:
• Master's degree in Biochemistry/Microbiology/Biotechnology from a recognized university.
• No third class at any level.
• 3-4 years experience in using sophisticated analytical equipment for biochemical/
microbiological research.
• Candidates may be asked to appear for technical written/practical exams and oral interviews. Preference may be given to those who demonstrate superior academic records, high scores on IUB exams, prior experience working with students/faculty in a teaching/ learning environment.
• Age must be less than 30 years at the time of appointment.
