In the name of Bangabandhu's philosophy and vision, which underpinned all the above, our heartiest Joi Bangla for the occasion. One of the most memorable lectures I gave was in Bangla Academy, which was subsequently published.

YELLOW SIGNALS

The wide involvement of women in different sectors has changed the status of women in Bangladesh in the 50 years of our independence. As a proud member of the Bangladesh Police Force, I am delighted to see it become an active player in recognizing women's role in law enforcement to ensure a safe society.

GENDERING THE POLICE FORCE

The women's movement was initially more about creating spaces and opportunities for women than about empowerment. It was the women's movement that started from the 70s to the 80s that created unity and a vision of women's empowerment and movements.

WHAT TO DO?”

Some things needed to be done, such as the adoption of the Ministry of Women's Affairs. And when secularism was removed, that was something that women's groups reacted to very strongly.

REVITALIZING FOUR PILLARS

For 12 years, these young people, the same young people who worked with me and today we have over 120 villages that are absolutely child marriage free I would say. My work is in the Coastal Belt, where I work with one of the most climatically sensitive areas, Gabura.

DID YOU KNOW?

My parents taught me to appreciate our culture and the culture of other countries. Thanks to the education I received from my parents, I learned everything about the greater India and also about the culture of the other countries.

DESIGNER FOR DEVELOPMENT’ DREAMER

And my chamois are promoted by the Spanish actor, Antonio Banderas, so I don't spend money on publicity. I was inspired by rickshaw art in Bangladesh to make eyeglass frames that I personally wear very often.

STRATEGIES FROM REALIZATIONS

It is the dedication that shows our strength, ability and virtue that we bring to the world. It is very important to understand them and learn from them and acknowledge that they have given us the foundation.

TO PARIS WITH LOVE”

With the help of the Chamber of Commerce Commissioner, I initiated the formation of the First European Joint Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh. Even today we have to hear that, especially in March and December, politicians' speeches about the war and the cost of independence are achieved by sacrificing the honor of 200 thousand women.

WOMEN IN POST-INDEPENDENT OF BANGLADESH

So my question is do we have the trauma counseling program for the child whose mother died during childbirth. We lost 500 people, it will be headline news in whatever part of the world it happened.

MOTHER-DAUGHTER BONDAGE CRUCIAL”

He sent from all over the country, albeit in the tribal sect, he managed to pick up and send one lady.” with him I try to find those 18 women, trace them, hear their stories, maybe even record them. Tomorrow someone will comment that Vidiya is doing business like this, she is so daring, she is drinking wine with 4 men in a restaurant.

INTERVIEW WITH DR. NAOMI

While there are women working in the public sector, how many women are currently in leadership roles. And for women who are in leadership positions, how many women entered the role of their own volition and how many women gained access through family background.

A “TOP-DOWN” BUG?

Have we moved beyond the Laxman Rekha, or are we still trapped in the cocoon of our patriarchal arrogance. Rural emigration increased and women found themselves in the urban slums working day in and day out.

THE ‘NEW WOMEN’

The marginalized and socially excluded women came to the fore to be caught in the safety net above the abject poverty line to support their families. While we find no hope in the ideological movements that reached a stage where, had they not taken the blow of project identity, they would sooner have been destroyed.

AS LIBERATED, AS THE COUNTRY?

Women have branched out from their traditional roles in society to soar in the clouds, literally and figuratively. 50 years of women's emancipation and empowerment is a short span of time, considering our compatriots in the developed countries, who had been reaping the benefits of such a status of women in the economy and society, for a much longer period than we have been.

CORPORATE CONQUEST?

We have the acumen, we have the motivation and we have the numbers to make it happen. He wanted to stay strictly and did not want to serve, but other generals and all of them told him "we need people like you, we have the army." So he continued with the army, but he had said, "I will resign".

SECOND LIBERATION?”

So this is the story of the tea garden and nowadays we have this organic, many types of tea. We started Meena Bazar in a small way, on Satmasjid road in Dhanmondi and now we have many branches.

COMMENTS ON WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT

My mother participated in plays in college and was a prolific writer for the college newspaper. Hossain, who encouraged my mother to complete her Master's degree and encouraged her involvement in areas of her interest.

SWADHIN BANGLA

According to my mother, these were difficult times for her as she left her 3-month-old baby in Dhaka. She was excited to contribute to the war and felt comforted that she could contribute to the war by reading the news in English.

FROM “ZERIN AHMED” TO

NASREEN AHMAD SHILU”

BETAR KENDRA (SBBK)

Begum Badrunnessa Ahmad became a pioneer woman MNA (Member, National Assembly) in 1954, from the Jukto Front. In 1971 when the family moved to India, Begum Badrunnessa Ahmad was in charge of rehabilitating the women.

WOMEN POLITICAL

Elite politicians like Syeda Sajeda Chowdhury, Sahara Khatun and Ivy Rahman all came into politics under the guidance and leadership of Begum Badrunnessa Ahmad. When the Mohila Awami league was formed, she went to various women's homes to take them for any political activity and made sure to leave them at home herself as they were growing up at that stage, and Begum Badrunnessa was busy with her work commitments. .

GAME CHANGING 1971

THERE BUT FOR FORTUNE”

To emerge from the economic misery and immense misery of years of abuse and exploitation by a military junta based on the other side of the subcontinent, while overcoming the extreme austerity and senseless violence of a 9 month war to the present prosperous state is no mean feat. National pride blossoms when the World Economic Forum tells us that Bangladesh now leads the United States and Russia in terms of gender equality.

100 YEARS OF FREEDOM

My role was minimal, but some of my comrades are household names today, belonging to the now famous Crack Platoon, carving their way out of the proverbial Motinagar and Melaghar guerilla camps to ultimate victory over a truly vile enemy. . I have a firm belief that we will see this generation 50 years from now bringing more results to the struggles and glories of the last five decades, setting a shining example to the free world of humility and perseverance.

MONITORING THE MALAISE

Bangabandhu loved the substance of poetry by our National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam. As our motto was liberation struggle and tribute, we scheduled our show on May 25, as it was the birthday of the great poet Kazi Nazrul Islam.

FROM TODAY BANGLADESH IS FREE”

There were two rooms, one of which was used for broadcasting, and the other for planning and assembly. When we used to sing, Mrs. Parvin Hossain would report the news and we had much less to talk about as I was not from the news department, but I had seen her many times.

MOBILIZING THE WESTERN WORLD

Hussain, was in the former, the secretary in Mujib Nagar, which was the main pillar that led the Bangladesh Liberation War. I should note here that today I am told that Bangladeshi restaurants in the UK at the time had raised around £400,000 in aid.

BANGLADESH: A ‘SECOND’ COMING?

We do not need to go back but stand on the teachings of our liberation war to move the country forward. The current leadership in power has called for a country building with the spirit of the War of Liberation as the basis of our freedom struggle.

REFLECTIONS ON THE LIBERATION WAR

The Mukti Bahini succeeded thanks to the support of the ordinary people of Bangladesh and the tenacious determination of its fighters. The rural people did not fight alone; they provided most of the help the Mukti Bahini needed.

ROADS TO NO WHERE?

My father was architect Mazharul Islam, a very progressive politically active person. He is often called sthapotocharjo Mazharul Islam. There was a lot of discussion about it and my father sincerely believed what Bangabandhu said.

WRITING HISTORY”

Then Khaleq Çaça gave me the certificate that my father had died in the liberation war. Speaking for my parents in Bangladesh's 50th anniversary year is a special double effort and benefit.

The sky was red and the crows cawed all night and we all sat on the porch listening and watching and trying to understand as all the phone lines were already down. Mostly because we didn't have a village to go to and we were 6 brothers and sisters and my dad felt it wouldn't be fair to just leave.

TRAPPED IN DHAKA”

By then I had already gone to the villages and started working in the villages with some of the women and people who were very directly affected by the famine and its consequences. I think it probably has to do with the movement of the 50s and 60s and the Enlightenment period.

BORROWED LIFE”

The teachers' wives in March came to our house and said to my mother, "apa, can we close one of the gates?" We had two gates and my mother thought it should be shut down and only a week before the war broke out that gate was sealed. Suddenly a gentleman started shouting "Sir, Sir, Sir!" He said to my father, Salam, as one of his students: “We thought you were killed.

BANGLADESH AT FIFTY

THE [HEARTWARMING] SURPRISE”

We're not out of the woods, not by a long shot, but this challenge is 'peanuts' compared to 1971: we've never been better prepared to face the devils than we are now. The final measure to break that bleak future outlook for education is simply to hand over more of the reins to women.

PILLAR OF GLOBAL SUCESS

MICROFINANCE

The country will be eternally grateful to the millions of martyrs who gave their lives during the Liberation War. Over the past 50 years, we have witnessed major shifts in the country, both in terms of socio-economic development and culture.

Bangladesh celebrates its 50th anniversary of independence, commemorating the country's declaration of independence by the nation's father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, in the early hours of March 26, 1971. Economic growth, mainly driven by the RMG industry, has beacon of hope for the people.

FROM “SURVIVAL” TO “STRENGTH”

This 50th anniversary is marked as a stepping stone for us, especially because of Bangladesh's recognition as a developing country. Bangladesh has enormous potential to become a key player in global politics and trade, especially due to its geopolitical location.
