Introduction

AHh(}Ughthe first telegraph scr"icc was introduced in 1844 and the first telephone exchange was commissioned 120 years ago. It was only during the Inst two decades that t1mtphenomenal occurred in the technologies related to tele~e(}mmunication All over the world, users replace tixed lines m preference for a mobile phone (sick tiens of both use and disconnections) Our ale testifies to an emerging mobile phone.

The evolution of new services is in the basic portfolio of telecommunications, the application of telecommunications in new areas, the evolution of processing technology, making the technologies cheaper and more versatile, the liberalization of the opening to competition and the organization of the market new businesses, and regulation of competition.

Objectiveof Study

  • Second Generation Mobile

This led to the standardization of telecommunications of all members of the first comprehensive international s[anJardization gmup. But today's best-in-class 2G wireless performance is only a stepping stone toward the next round of customer demands, network operators are working "in one of the most demanding, competitive markets in the world today. In recent years it has begun to grow dramatically, althc>ug:hobvic>usly from a very IQW base. Mobile cellular networks are built for voice services and, more importantly, have been fine-tuned over the years for efficient and effective voice transmission.

While technologies such as GSM and COMA in principle enable a wide range of mobile data services, these networks can never be optimized for this. Voice will remain the killer app for mobile devices with BOrnedata services included as SUPP

Cellular Market in Bangladesh and Cellular Operators

  • Radio network

For 10 umler!and the significance of the economic changes brought about by ccllular, we must pay attention to the vaiue chain of industry. In relation to the social eonseqllcnees, we believe that the rapid acceptance of the cellular standard is the most important measure of its success. Hunters of the "killer app" in telecommunications may not see that mobility itself is the killer app.

In a role we might want to define as the penal communicator, GSM has made its presence felt in almost every region of the world. The potential of GSM mobile communications to connect chronically underserved communities in Africa, Asia and Lalm America was one of the key development organizations anticipated as mobile telephony took off in Europe and the US. mid-1990s. For example, there are more telephones in Manhattan than in all of sub-Saharan Africa.

Although perhaps not the goal of introducing a new technology, the implementation of the mobile standard has contributed directly, indirectly, to economic growth, led to the creation of new employment opportunities and contributed significantly to the GDI of many countries . . They provide mobile services to register on behalf of mobile operator and service providers. By bringing electronic connectivity to rural Bangladesh, Grameen Phone is bringing the digital revolution to the doorstep of the poor and unconnected.

Grameen Phone became the country's largest mobile phone operator in 2001. It also became decisively the leader of the entire telecom market in Bangladesh in 2002, even surpassing BTIB, the only fixed line operator. The operator Grameen has been very successful in introducing the concept and nCw services. More than 90% of Grameen phone subscribers and 75% of the country's total mobile telephony i, Mobile to Mobile, this brand image (GP-GP) i ~ e,tabli, hed as a whole product class.[5]. GSM is a living, growing technology with varying levels of adoption, in scope and approach, for service delivery in different parts of the world.

Because a significant part of the infrastructure is based on radio resources (Microwave Links) owned by Grameen Phone, Grameen Phone has built a strong infrastructure by leasing dark fiber:; from Bangladesh Railway about 2000 km.

  • Identifying Strength

Grameen Phone has acquired nearly 250 corporate customers (98% of corporate entities in the overall market) who are the largest consumers of data services, although the individual GPRS user is making a leap into the data market, so as per the scenario, the next data penetration is cxpectcd through mobile. The Bangladesh government has thus awarded 18 licenses to operators for the provision of telecommunication services and the construction of telecommunication infrastructure in the country. SWOT analysis is based on the basic principle that strategy formulation efforts must be directed at creating a good match between the company's capabilities, esourcc and its external conditions.

Strength is something a company is good at or something that gives the company greater competitiveness: Grameen Phone runs in the following way.” in force [2J. Grameen phone has already become the most renowned brand name in the business world of Bangladesh. Grameen Phone's GP-GP product includes a class of product names, including those produced by nvak. people use Grameen Phone logo to mark the mobile phone number.

SWOT Analysis Template

  • Aggressive Strategy

The SWOT analysis model is usually presented as a grid, consisting of four sections, one for each of the SWOT headings: Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats. It is important to clearly identify the subject of a S\VOT ally because a SWOT analysis is a perspective of a thing, be it a company, a product, a pw position, and idea, a m.thod, or option, . tc. The lack of eircmtc" interconnection with IlTTB has been one of the main sons for slow mobile gmwth in the early years.

Although literacy has increased by around 45%, in the real sense, 8-10% of the population is literate in Bangladesh, creating a barrier for mobile operators to introduce new services in the technology, especially in different types of data. SCl"vlCes. SWOT analysis is only the first "leI" in developing and implementing an effective organizational strategy. It requires trying to find strategic fit with external opportunities and internal strength while dealing with external threat and internal weakness for Grnmeen Phone, a schematic representation of the matrix is available to create a specific, viable alternative strategy based on external and internal factors.

However, the four strategy quadrants that aligned SO, WO, ST and WT list specific strategies that will benefit the Grameen Phone in light of those underlying factors. One of the major problems with the SWOT analysis is that although it emphasizes the importance of the four elements associated with the organizational and environmental analysis, it is not easy to identify elements precisely for the company. 'Ctto individual's assessment and opinion. Depending on the organization and circumstances, what may appear to be an opportunity, power and threat, turns out to be to some extent not really in the business either.

So, to cover all corners of the business for Gmmeen Pho]e, few other strategies with applicable area have been proposed for rapid growth in the market and for maintaining a leading position in the market. Just like responding to changes, anticipating changes still fundamentally determines the strength of the system. outside the company we are in the driver's seat.
