A portal is a specially designed website that helps to combine information from different sources in a unified way. "Web Application on Student Portal" (WAOSP) is an online application that is mainly focused on those who want to learn, known as students, and those who try to learn, known as teachers. Members on this portal can share information in various formats like video, images, pdf etc.

Online Student Portal offers services such as online bookstore, online courses, forums, communities, study materials, news and events. At the very outset we would like to express my deepest gratitude to Almighty Allah for giving us the ability and strength to complete the task successfully within the schedule. We are fortunate that we had the kind association as well as supervision of Sabrina Tasnim, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Sonargaon University, whose cordial and valuable support with best concern and direction served as a necessary outlet to carry out our project.

This requires the role and creation of a digital student planner to help students manage and organize their daily tasks and events, with features that allow students to take advantage of modern technology to better manage and organize their daily tasks. Being a student yourself, being able to properly manage and organize tasks and events has always been a key factor in maintaining a healthy and productive student life. Because of this, I am determined to make my own form of a student platform that will try to solve those disadvantages of other platforms and maximize student efficiency and productivity, as well as add additional features of my own that enhance the functionality of the platform will improve, making it an app that I will personally enjoy using and greatly benefit from.

One of these is the addition and integration of the school portal section into the proposed student platform, which could serve as an information gateway between the student and the school by being able to view and interact with school-related information. This sometimes requires the student to cycle back and forth when interacting with school-related applications and platforms. The intended goal of this proposed project is to combine the two separate platforms into one centralized, integrated platform that could serve as a single platform for students to use in managing and processing school-related tasks and information.

Portals can play an important role in managing staff, faculty, students and the rest of the workforce from your desktop. The system allows students to see their books and the teacher requested for the lesson.

Language and Tools

The default characteristics for each item of HTML tags are defined in the browser, and these characteristics can be changed or enhanced through additional use of CSS by the web designer. JavaScript is a lightweight programming language commonly used by web developers to create more dynamic interactions when developing websites, applications, servers or even games. JavaScript is the most popular programming language in the world, making it a great choice for programmers.

JavaScript is one of the most widely used programming languages ​​(front-end and back-end). It is a programming language that allows web developers to create dynamic content that interacts with databases. It is used to manage dynamic content, databases, session tracking, even building entire e-commerce websites.

It is integrated with several popular databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, Informix and Microsoft SQL Server. Visual Studio Code combines the simplicity of a source code editor with powerful developer tools such as code completion and IntelliSense debugging. Primarily, it's an editor that eludes you. Visual Studio Code includes an interactive debugger so you can step through source code, inspect variables, view call stacks, and run commands in the console.

It is an open source web solutions package that includes a multi-server Apache distribution and command-line executables along with modules such as Apache Server, MariaDB, PHP, and Perl. XAMPP is one of the widely used cross-platform web servers that helps developers to create and test their programs on a local web server. It is developed by Apache Friends, and its original source code can be modified or modified by the audience.

It is available in 11 languages ​​and supports various platforms such as the IA-32 package of Windows and the x64 package of macOS and Linux. It is a platform that offers a suitable environment for testing and verifying the operation of projects based on Apache, Perl, MySQL database and PHP through the host system itself. Among these technologies, Perl is a programming language used for web development, PHP is a back-end scripting language, and MariaDB is the most widely used database developed by MySQL.

The data collection was applied in different universities in Saudi Arabia to the collected data on student portal issues. One of the first things to do before designing and creating the Student Platform is to research similar previous and existing systems to the proposed platform. This will include student planner, student management and student portal-like systems that exist in the real world and are already in use, as the proposed Student Platform will adopt certain aspects of these systems and aims to integrate them together to create one single centralized platform .

Several of the most important investigated platforms, which already exist and became the main inspiration for the Student Platform, are listed below. In the following, we describe how you can express your data requirements via the DQM Vocabulary. In software engineering, functional requirements define a function of a system or its component in terms of calculations, technical details, and other specific functionalities that show the intended behavior of the system.

The Student Platform should consist of two main panels: the Student Panel, which will fulfill the main purpose of the Student Platform, and the Admin Panel, which stands for administrator panel, which will be used by platform administrators to store data and information related to the system and school administration. The Student Platform must validate between student accounts and platform administrator accounts after user login, and route them to the appropriate corresponding panels. The Student Panel should also provide students with the opportunity to view and download their academic books.

The administrator panel should enable platform administrators to manage all registered users and their data on the platform and to register new users. The user managing the web portal can easily communicate with the system and. Students and employees of the faculty can access the portal from anywhere and at any time.

An architecture description is a formal description and representation of a system, organized in a way that supports reasoning about the structures and behavior of the system. Development of an online student portal to promote more number of students to excel in the field of education. The interview method, used in this study, brought out users' authentic reactions and ideas about the system.

However, the method presents limitations [4], as there are often differences between what users say about the system and what they actually do in the system. Therefore, direct observation through usability testing or online analytics of student portal usage may sometimes be necessary to supplement interviews. The implications of the current research suggest a number of research questions that would be appropriate for a future quantitative review.

It would also be interesting to investigate some of the newly identified themes in a wider range of technology applications for student portals.
