Departemen Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia menyampaikan salam hormatnya
kepada Kedutaan Besar Republik Ekuador di Jakarta dan dengan hormat merujuk kepada
Not;:i Kedutaan Besar No. 4-2-004-2008 tertanggal 17 .Januari 2008 mengenai keoutusan
Pernerintah Ekuador untuk memberikan Fasilitas Bebas Visa bagi warga negara Indonesia
pemegang paspor biasa yang akan berkunjung ke Ekuador dengan masa linggal sampai
dengan 90 hari.
Departemen selanjutnya dengan hormat memberitahukan Kedutaan Besai bahwa
Pernerintah Indonesia telah mengamandemen Keputusan Presiden No. 18 Tahun 2003
mengenai Fasilitas Bebas Visa Kunjungan Singkat dengan Keputusan Presiden No. 16
Tahun 2008 tertanggal 26 Pebruari 2008 dengan memasukan Ekuador ke dalam daftar
negara penerima. Dengan demikian, Pemerintah Indonesia memberikan fasilitas bebas visa
kunjungan singkat selama 30 hari kepada warga negara Ekuador pemegang pasp:)[ biasa
terhitung mulai tanggal 26 Pebruari 2008.
Oepartemen sangat menghargai sekiranya Kedutaan Besar dapat menyampaikan
informasi ini kepada instasi terkait di Ekuador.
Departemen Luar Negeri Republik Indonesia ingin menggunakan kesempatan ini
untuk sekali lagi menyam paikan penghargaan yang setinggi-tingginya kepada Ktdutaan
Besar Republik Ekuador di Jakarta.

The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia presents its
compliments to the Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador in Jakarta and has the honour to
refer to the latter's Note number 4-2-004-2008 dated January 17, 2008 regarding the
decision of the Government of Ecuador to provide Visa Exemption Facility for Indonesian
citizens holding ordinary passport to remain in Ecuador for up to
90
days.The Department has further the honour to inform the Embassy that the Government
of Indonesia had amended the Presidential Decree No. 18 year 2003 on Visa Exemption for
Short Visit with Presidential Decree No. 16 year 2008 dated February 26, 2008 to include
Ecuador as one of the countries on the list. In this regard, the Government of the Republic of
Indonesia has decided to provide Visa Exemption Facility for Ecuadorian citizens holding
ordinary passport to remain in Indonesia for up to 30 days starting February 26, 2008.
The Department will kindly appreciate if the Embassy conveys this information to
related institutions in Ecuador.
The Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia avails itseif of this
opportunity to renew to the Embassy of the Republic of Ecuador the assurances of its
highest consideration.
