IMPLEMENTATION BASED ON LEARNING THE

CURRICULUM OF 2013 ON TECHNICAL PROGRAM OF BUILDING

ENGINEERING (Case Studies in SM K Negeri 2 Surakarta in The Subject o f

Engineering Drawing).

Thesis, Faculty o f Teaching and Education in Sebelas

M aret University o f Surakarta Desember 2014.

The background o f this research is, currently in Indonesia has

implemented a new curriculum changes becomes curriculum o f 2013, the success

o f the curriculum is strongly influenced by the ability o f teachers to

implementated. In the academic year o f 2013-2014, SM K N 2 Surakarta

designated as one o f the cluster in school that organizers curriculum in 2013.

Starting from this background, the purpose o f this research a to examine about:

(1) conditions o f the implementation curriculum o f 2013, (2) Level o f teacher’s

comprehension lesson to implement the curriculum o f 2013, (3) The supporting

and inhibiting fa ctor in the implementation o f the learning curriculum 2013, (4)

Eforts o f the program that being made in implementing learns o f curriculum o f

2013 in the subject o f Engineering Drawing.

This research using a case-studies approachment, with descriptive

qualitative research methods. The sampling technique used in this study is

snowball sampling. Data were collected by interview, observation and

documentation. The data analysis technique used are M iles and Huberman (1984)

with the validity o f the data using triangulation system.

The results o f this experiment show that : (1) Conditions o f

implementation curriculum o f 2013 on the subjects o f Drawing Engineering SM K

N 2 Surakarta on a scale o f information , socialization , conditions , and

supervision has not been considered good and needed improvement and

development (2) Teacher’s level o f understanding consists o f three managerial

functions including planning, implementation , and assessment o f learning can be

seen fro m the achievement o f indicators can be categorized properly and in

accordance w ith Permendikbud (3) Supporting factors acquired through

socialization from curriculum o f 2013 group C Division o f Technical Education.

The Inhibiting factors comes fro m discipline o f all the teachers, distribution o f

learning’s time that w eren ’t evective yet, and too much o f preparation in the

administration (4) Eforts in implementing the learning expertise program based

on curriculum o f 2013 is to maximize the learning infrastructure, preparation and

development o f teachers, and supplying book.
