Abstrak

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui latar belakang dilakukan BCA untuk Wayang Indonesia sebagai salah satu program CSR Bakti BCA sekaligus mengetahui sejauh mana pemahaman dari CSR BCA yang terlibat di dalamnya, dan penelitian ini juga hendak mengetahui pelaksanaan BCA untuk Wayang Indonesia yang dilakukan CSR BCA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi deskriptif. Pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah melalui wawancara, observasi, studi kepustakaan, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa BCA membuat program BCA untuk Wayang Indonesia didasarkan pada komitmen BCA dalam mewujudkan kepedulian melestarian budaya wayang di tanah air dan berupaya untuk menghadirkan aktivitas-aktivitas yang mendekatkan wayang dengan masyarakat Indonesia, khususnya generasi muda. Pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh CSR BCA ternyata hampir serupa dengan peserta dalam kegiatan saat itu, yaitu sama-sama memahami bahwa program ini ada agar generasi muda Indonesia lebih mengenal, mencintai, dan tergerak untuk melestarikan budaya wayang di tanah air. Pelaksanaan program tidak semata-mata langsung dilaksanakan, tetapi melalui proses perencanaan, implementasi, dan evaluasi.

This research aims to determine the background of BCA for Indonesian
Wayang as one of CSR program in Bakti BCA simultaneously determine the
extent of understanding of BCA’s CSR which involved in it, and this research also
investigate the implementation of BCA for Indonesian Wayang conducted by BCA’s CSR. The method used in this research is qualitative method with descriptive study approach. All data are collected through interviews, observations, literature studies, and documentations.
The results of this research to indicate that BCA whose planned program BCA for Indonesian Wayang is based on BCA's commitment in bringing awareness to preserve Wayang culture in Indonesia and wish to take many activities to bring Indonesian people much more closer to Wayang, especially to the younger generation. This understanding appears similary to participants in the activities of the program, they both understand that this program exist for them to perceive, love, and take action to preserve wayang’s culture in Indonesia. This program is not solely implemented directly, but it comes through the process of planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Suggestions in this research is BCA's CSR for the long-term activities advised to have short-term targets which is intended to be BCA’s benchmarks to achieve as a result of how the younger generation understand about preserving
Wayang. In addition, BCA's CSR should also create a campaign that is loaded with appeal today's young generation and spread widely in public, so that any Indonesian citizens aware of the existence of the program BCA for Indonesia
