DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NO. 01/MPP/KEP/1/2001 DATED JANUARY 4, 2001
CONCERNING
REVOCATION OF DECREE OF MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NUMBER 580/MPP/KEP/10/1999 ON CONTROL OF IMPORTATION
OF DIOXIN-CONTAMINATED GOODS
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE,
Considering :
a. That in connection with the letter from the European Commission No. 2000/301/EC dated April 18, 2000 which states that Belgium has been freed from dioxin contamination, it is necessary to revoke the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 580/MPP/Kep/10/1999 on the Control of Dioxin-Contaminated Goods;
b. That for that purpose, it is necessary to issue a Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade.
In view of :
1. The Presidential Decree No. 234/M/2000 on the Establishment of the Cabinet for Period of 1999-2004; 2. The Presidential Decree No. 165/2000 on Status, Duties, Functions, Authority, Organizational Structure
and Working System of Ministries;
3. The Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 229/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on General Provisions in the Area of Import;
4. The Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 230/MPP/Kep/7/1997 on Goods subject to the Important Trade System, as already several times amended, the latest by the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 192/MPP/Kep/6/2000;
5. The Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 444/MPP/Kep/9/1998 jo. No. 24/MPP/Kep/1/1999 on Organization and Working System of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Taking into account :
The letters of the Belgian Ambassador No. 613/PC/POM13 dated May 10, 2000, No. 437/PC/Dioxin4-MI&T dated June 16, 2000 and No. B.41/416/PC dated October 19, 2000.

DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON REVOCATION OF DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NUMBER 580/MPP/KEP/10/1999 ON CONTROL OF DIOXIN-CONTAMINATED GOODS.

This Decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this Decree shall be announced by publishing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
