THE EX-FACTORY TRANSACTION PRICE OF GRANULATED SUGAR PURCHASED BY BULOG FROM PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA/PT RAJAWALI NUSANTARA INDONESIA AND FARMERS AS WELL AS
OTHER PRODUCERS

Considering :
a. that as a follow-up to the Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No.
348/MPP/Kep/7/1998 on the trade and distribution of cooking oil and
granulated sugar and in the framework of ensuring the availability and stable
price of sugar for the fulfillment of the need of common people and
small-scale businesses, it is necessary to stipulate the transaction price of granulated
sugar from PT Perkebunan Nusantara/ PT. Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia and
farmers as well as other producers to BULOG.
b. that in relation thereto, it is necessary to stipulate a decree of the Minister of
Industry and Trade.
In View of :
1. Law No. 5/1984 on the industry affairs (Status Book of 1984 No. 22,
Supplement to Statute No. 3274);
2. President Decree no. 44/1974 on the principles of ministerial organization;
3. Presidential Decree No. 61/1998 on the functions, tasks, organizational
structures and working arrangements of ministries:
4. Presidential Decree no. 122/M/1998 on the establishment of the Development
Reforms Cabinet;
5. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 29/MPP/SK/2/1996 jo. No.
92/MPP/Kep/4/1996 on the organization an Working arrangement of the
6. Decree of the Minister of Industry and Trade No. 348/MPP/Kep/7/1998 on
the trade and distribution of cooking oil and granulated sugar.
Observing :
Results of a coordination meeting led by the Coordinating Minister of Economy,
Finance and Industry on July 23, 1998 concerning the supply of cooking oil and
granulated sugar to common people.
DECIDES :
To stipulate :
THE DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE ON THE EX-FACTORY TRANSACTION PRICE OF DRANLUTED SUGAR PURCHASED BY BULOG FROM PT PERKEBUNAN NUSANTARA/PT RAJAWALI NUSANTARA INDONESIA AND FARMERS AS WELL AS OTHER PRODUCERS
FIRSTLY :
The ex-factory transaction price of granulated sugar from PT Perkebunan
Nusantara/PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia and framers as well as other
producers to BULOG shall be stipulated by the Minister of Industry and Trade.
SECONDLY :
The ex-factory transaction price of granulated sugar purchased by BULOG from
PT Perkebunan Nusantara/PT Rajawali Nusantara Indonesia and farmers as well
as other producers shall be set at Rp. 2.100 a kg, excluding Value Added Tax.
THIRDLY :
The stipulation of price as meant in the second Dictum shall be reviewed
FOURTHLY :
The Stipulation of prince as meant in the third Dictum shall stipulated further by
the Director General of Domestic Trade after securing approvals from the
Minister of Industry and Trade.
FIFTHLY :
The Director General of Domestic Trade shall Trade shall report The realization
of his tasks at least once in a month to the Minister of Industry and Trade with a
copy made to the Secretary General of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
SIXTHLY :
This decree shall come into force as from the date of stipulation.
For public cognizance, this decree shall be published by placing it in the State
Gazette of republic of Indonesia.
