REGARDING
REVOCATION OF DECREE OF MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NUMBER
711/MPP/KEP/12/2003 REGARDING IMPORT PROVISION OF IRON OR ROLLED COIL STEEL DAN STEEL PRODUCT
MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE OF THE REPUBLIC OF INDONESIA
Considering:
a. that in connection with development steel business, either internationally or nationally, and in the framework of securing Indonesia sustainable development especially related to the use of imported iron or rolled coil steel and steel product as raw material or auxiliary material, it is necessary to review steel policy thoroughly and revoke Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Ministerial Number 711/MPP/Kep/12/2003 regarding Import Provision of Iron or Rolled Coil steel and steel product;
b. that therefore, it is necessary to issue an Industry and Trade Ministerial Decree.
In view Of:
1. Bedrijfreglementerings Ordonnantie 1934 (Staatsblad Year 1938 Number 86);
2. Law Number 5 Year 1984 regarding Industry (State Gazette Year 1984 Number 22, Additional to State Gazette Number 3274);
3. Law Number 7 Year 1994 regarding Ratification of Agreement Establishing The World Trade Organization (State Gazette Year 1994 Number 57, Additional to State Gazette Number 3564);
4. Law Number 10 Year 1995 regarding Customs Provision (State Gazette Year 1995 Number 75, Additional to State Gazette Number 3612);
5. Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 228/M Year 2001 regarding the Constitution of Gotong Royong Cabinet;
6. Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 102 Year 2001 regarding Position, Duty, Function, Authority, Structure of Organization and Working Procedure of Department;
7. Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 109 Year 2001 regarding Organization Unit and Duty of Echelon I of Ministry;
8. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 229/MPP/Kep/7/1997 regarding General Provision of Import;
9. Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 86/MPP/Kep/3/2001 regarding Organization and Working Procedure of Ministry of Industry and Trade.

Stipulate:
DECREE OF MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE REGARDING REVOCATION OF DECREE OF MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE NUMBER 711/MPP/Kep/12/2003 REGARDING IMPORT PROVISION OF IRON OR ROLLED COIL STEEL DAN STEEL PRODUCT.
Article 1
2 Article 2
(1) With the revocation of Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade as contemplated in Article 1, Import Provision of Iron or rolled coil steel and steel product shall be governed by Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 229/MPP/Kep/7/1997 regarding General Provision of Import.
(2) Revocation of Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade referred to in Article 1, shall not release any legal consequence thereof to the extent that it is implemented based on Decree of Minister of Industry and Trade Number 711/MPP/Kep/12/2003, until this Decree is stipulated.
Article 3
This decree shall be effective as of the date it is stipulated.
To the extent of anybody be aware of it, order to announce this Decree by registering it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
