KATA PENGANTAR
Penerbitan buku Kota Palu Dalam Angka 2021, merupakan publikasi rutin yang diterbitkan Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Kota Palu tiap tahunnya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan data-data penggunanya. Publikasi ini memuat data/ informasi statistik tentang hasil-hasil pembangunan di Wilayah Kota Palu selama tahun 2020, yang banyak diperlukan dalam evaluasi pembangunan.
Data-data statistik yang disajikan merupakan hasil pengumpulan data sekunder dari berbagai instansi dan hasil pengolahan beberapa survei dan sensus yang telah dilaksanakan oleh badan pusat statistik. dengan terbitnya publikasi ini, di harapkan dapat memberikan informasi kepada pengguna data sebagai bahan monitoring, evaluasi dan penetapan kebijaksanaan pembangunan.
Buku ini dapat diterbitkan berkat kerja sama dan bantuan dari berbagai pihak baik pemerintah maupun swasta. untuk itu kami ucapkan terima kasih yang sebesar-besarnya, semoga kerja sama ini dapat lebih ditingkatkan pada masa-masa yang akan datang.

The publication of Palu Municipality Book in Figures 2021, is the regular publication published every year by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Palu Municipality to meet the needs of development priority data. This publication contains statistical data / information on the results of development in the Palu Municipality Region during 2020, which is much needed in the evaluation of development.
The statistical data presented are the results of secondary data collection from various agencies and the results of the processing of several surveys and censuses that have been carried out by the central statistical body. With the publication of this publication, it is expected to provide information to data users as material for monitoring, evaluating and establishing development policies.
This book can be published thanks to the cooperation and assistance of various parties, both government and private. for that we say thank you as much as possible, hopefully this cooperation can be further enhanced in the days to come.

1. Secara astronomis, Kota Palu terletak antara 0º,36” - 0º,56” Lintang Selatan dan 119º,45” - 121º,1” Bujur Timur tepat berada di bawah garis Khatulistiwa dengan ketinggian 0 - 700 meter dari permukaan laut. 2. Berdasarkan posisi geografisnya,
Kota Palu memiliki batas-batas: Utara – Kabupaten Donggala; Selatan – Kabupaten Sigi; Barat – Kabupaten Donggala dan Sigi; Timur – Kabupaten Parigi Moutong dan Donggala. 3. Kota Palu berada pada kawasan dataran lembah Palu dan Teluk Palu, dengan ketinggian rata-rata 0 – 700 meter diatas permukaan laut, terletak pada posisi 0º,36” - 0º,56” Lintang Selatan dan 119º,45” - 121º,1” Bujur Timur . Luas wilayah Kota Palu,

Tahun 2020, wilayah administrasi Kota Palu terdiri dari 8 wilayah kecamatan dan 46 wilayah kelurahan, yaitu: Palu Barat (8,28 km2), Tatanga (14,95 km2), Ulujadi (40,25 km2), Palu Selatan (27,38 km2), Palu Timur (7,71 km2), Mantikulore (206,80 km2), Palu Utara (29,94 km2), dan Tawaeli (59,75 km2).

Palu Municipality located in the valley plain of Palu and the palu gulf with an altitude 0-700 meter above sea level, in which it astronomically lies beetwen 0º,36” - 0º,56” south latitude and 119º,45” - 121º,1” eastern longitude. Sulawesi Tengah Province area is shaped in landby 61,841.29 km2.
In 2020, Palu is divided into 8 Subdistrict and 46 villages are Palu Barat (8,28 km2), Tatanga (14,95 km2),
Ulujadi (40,25 km2), Palu Selatan
(27,38 km2), Palu Timur (7,71 km2),
Mantikulore (206,80 km2), Palu Utara
(29,94 km2), dan Tawaeli (59,75 km2).
