Syllabus update: Cambridge IGCSE

®

(9–1) History (0977)

for examination in 2018 and 2019

We have updated this syllabus. The latest syllabus is version 2, published December 2016,

What has changed? Detail

Changes to syllabus On page 35, the table ‘Assessment objectives as a percentage of each

component’ has been amended: the percentages have been corrected; and columns for Component 3 and Paper 4 have been combined, to clarify that they are alternatives.

On page 36, the Previous Study section has been amended with the correct recommendation that candidates should previously have studied a history curriculum.

We have not updated the specimen materials for this syllabus.
