Penelitian dalam skripsi ini membahas tentang pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa. Kajian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa yang kurang optimal terhadap mata pelajaran Matematika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning berbantuan multimedia interaktif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar matematika siswa pada materi kubus dan balok kelas VIII MTsN Tulungagung.

The research in this thesis discusses the correlation of Problem Based Learning model assisted interactive multimedia towards motivation and result of learning Mathematics by the students. This research was motivated by student’s

motivation and student’s learning outcomes are less than optimal to Mathematics.

The purpose of this research is to determine the correlation of Problem Based Learning model assisted interactive multimedia towards motivation and learning outcomes Mathematics on material cube and beams at eighth grade of Islamic Junior High School Tulungagung.

This research used quantitative approach, the type of research was experimental with design model that are used is quasi experimental design (quasi experimental design). The population in this research is the whole eighth grade of Islamic Junior High School Tulungagung academic year 2016/2017. The sample of this research used random sampling technique, with VIII F class as experimental group and VIII G class as control group. Techniques and instruments of data collection: 1) Questionnaire; 2) Test; 3) Documentation. The research instrument in the form of questionnaire to measure motivation and test to measure learning outcomes. Analytical techniques used are t-test and MANOVA test with the help of SPSS 16.0 for windows.
