PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN LARUTAN Ca(OH)2 PADA AIR FILTER TERHADAP PENINGKATAN pH AIR RESERVOIR DI PDAM

ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penambahan larutan Ca(OH)2 pada air filter untuk meningkatkan
pH air reservoir yang diolah agar sesuai dengan pH standar air minum menurut Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan RI No.492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 yakni 6,5-8,5. Dari hasil perlakuan diperoleh jumlah larutan Ca(OH)2 yang dibutuhkan sebanyak
26,325 L/det dengan debit air 1755 L/det, 22,88 L/det larutan Ca(OH)2 dengan
debit air 1760 L/det, 28,941 L/det larutan Ca(OH)2 dengan debit air 1754 L/det,
22,789 L/det larutan Ca(OH)2 dengan debit air 1753 L/det, 31,644 L/det larutan
Ca(OH)2 dengan debit air 1758 L/det dimana pH akhirnya adalah 7.

ABSTRACT
Has been addition of a solution of Ca(OH)2 in water filter to increase pH
of water reservoir treated to match the pH of drinking water standards according Regulation of the Minister of Health 492/MENKES/PER/IV/2010 which is 6.5 to 8.5. From the results obtained treatment solution amount of Ca(OH)2 is needed as
much 26.325 L/sec with water flow 1755 L/sec, 22.88 L/sec solution of Ca(OH)2
with water discharge in 1760 L/sec, 28.941 L/sec solution of Ca(OH)2 with water
discharge in 1754 L/sec, 22.789 L/sec solution of Ca(OH)2 with water discharge
in 1753 L/sec, 31.644 L/sec solution of Ca(OH)2 with water discharge in 1758
L/sec where finally pH is 7.
