About the topic/technology
This is the first major architectural history book to be written from a global perspective rather than a western one. Its organizing principle is a continuous timeline that runs from the
beginning of time to the present. Primary and secondary sites are described for each major time period. Written by a stellar team of architecture educators, A History of Global Architecture
emphasizes connections, contrasts, and influences. This richly illustrated reference features the unique drawings of Frank Ching as well as detailed photographs.
