Pengaruh Persepsi Dukungan Organisasi terhadap Work-Life Balance

ABSTRAK
Work-life balance merupakan suatu keadaan dimana individu merasa terikat dan puas terhadap kehidupan pekerjaan dan kehidupan keluarganya. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi work-life balance adalah organizational support (dukungan organisasi). Dalam hal ini, dukungan organisasi sangat penting karena ketersediaan dukungan terhadap karyawan dalam menjalankan perannya di tempat kerja dan keluarga akan membuat karyawan merasa bahwa organisasi memperhatikan kesejahteraan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh persepsi dukungan organisasi terhadap work-life balance. Ada dua skala yang digunakan, yaitu skala work-life balance dan skala persepsi dukungan organisasi yang melibatkan 262 orang karyawan PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan (Kantor Direksi) sebagai subjek penelitian. Data yang telah terkumpul diolah dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi. Hasil analisis statistik menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan organisasi berpengaruh terhadap work-life balance. Dari tiga aspek persepsi dukungan organisasi, diketahui bahwa keadilan memberikan pengaruh yang lebih kuat terhadap work-life balance. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman kepada organisasi agar memberikan dukungan yang sesuai terhadap karyawan sehingga dapat meningkatkan work-life balance.

The Influence of Perceived Organizational Support toward Work-Life Balance

ABSTRACT
Work-life balance is the extent to which an individual feels bound and satisfied with the work and family life. One of the factors that affect work-life balance is organizational support. In this case, organization that is supportive of its employees means that the organization firms value the contribution of their employees and cares for their employee’s wellbeing. This research aims to determine the influence of perceived organizational support toward work-life balance. There were two scales, namely work-life balance scale and perceived organizational support scale and involved 262 employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan (Directors Office). Collected data were examined by using regression analysis. Statistical analysis showed that perceived organizational support indicated to predict work-life balance. Three aspects of perceived organizational support showed that justice has a higher contribution to increase work-life balance. Implication of the study for organizations would be providing customized support in increasing work-life balance.
