English as a foreign language has become popular especially in entering the new globalization era and of course as an international language English has become a need in the world of education. Nowadays, it is believed that English can be
taught from elementary school level because it is best to start it since childhood. According to Moon, Brumfit, and Tongue (1991), elementary students are keen and they are enthusiastic young learners just beginning their schooling. English as a
foreign language is taught in most elementary schools in Indonesia. English is also taught at SD Sumogawe 02 Getasan, an elementary school in the country.
