Kabupaten Wonosobo dan institusi lain. Publikasi ini memuat gambaran umum ten-tang keadaan geografi dan iklim, pemerintahan, serta perkembangan kondisi sosial-demografi dan perekonomian di Kabupaten Wonosobo.
Beberapa tabel tertentu menyajikan data pada tingkat kecamatan dan provinsi untuk melihat keterbandingan antar wilayah kecamatan dan antar kabupaten kota. Untuk memudahkan pemahaman dan pemenfaatan data, disertakan juga penjelasan teknis dan ulasan dari setiap jenis statistik yang ditampilkan. Data in certain tables are presented at subdistrict and province levels to compare socio - economic conditions among subdistrict regions and regencies/cities. Technical notes and review for each statistics are also included in this publication to provide a better understanding in interpreting data for data user. To provides a better access to data covered in the Wonosobo Regency in Figures, a series of the publication can be read in BPS - Statistics of Wonosobo Regency website (www.wonosobokab.bps.go.id)

Wonosobo Regency is a moun-tainous area with an altitude ranging from 275 meters to 2 250 meters above sea level.
Its geographical locations is as follows:
1. To the north is bondered by Ken-dal Regency and Batang Regency 2. To the east is bondered by Te-manggung Regency and Magelang Regency
3. To the south is bondered by Kebumen Regency and Purworejo Re-gency
4. To the west is bondered by Ban-jarnegara Regnecy and Kebumen Re-Kabupaten Wonosobo terletak antara
7011’ dan 7036’ Lintang Selatan, 109043’ dan 110004’ Bujur Timur. Ber-jarak sekitar 120 km dari Semarang, ibukota Provinsi Jawa Tengah dan seki-tar 520 km dari Jakarta, ibukota nega-ra.
Kabupaten Wonosobo merupakan daerah pegunungan dengan ketinggian berkisar antara 275 meter sampai dengan 2 250 meter di atas permukaan laut.
Adapun batas-batasnya adalah
sebagai berikut:
1. Sebelah utara dengan Kabupat-en KKabupat-endal dan KabupatKabupat-en Batang.
2. Sebelah timur dengan Kabupat-en Temanggung dan KabupatKabupat-en Mage-lang
3. Sebelah selatan dengan Kabu-paten Kebumen dan KabuKabu-paten Pur-worejo. 4. Sebelah barat dengan Kabupaten Banjarnegara dan Kabupaten

Kabupaten Wonosobo terdiri atas 15 kecamatan, dimana kecamatan terluas adalah Kecamatan Wadaslin-tang (127,16 Km2) dan Kecamatan Wonosobo sebagai kecamatan yang terkecil (32,28 Km2).
1.2 Iklim
Sebagai daerah beriklim tropis, Wonosobo hanya mengenal dua musim, yaitu musim kemarau dan musim penghujan.
Sepanjang tahun 2014 terjadi curah hujan yang fluktuatif selama 183 hari dan beragam menurut bulan. 1.2 Climate

2.2 Anggota DPRD
Dari hasil pemilihan umum tahun 2014 , terpilih 45 orang anggota de-wan yang berasal dari 10 partai politik. Terdiri dari 42 laki - laki dan 3 per-empuan. Rincian per partai bias dilihat pada table 2.2.1.
2.3 Pelayanan Kartu Keluarga Pada tahun 2015 terdapat 296 188 kepala keluarga. Jumlah keluarga yang memiliki kartu keluarga sebanyak 295 596, itu berarti masih terdapat 0,20 % kepala rumah tangga yang be-lum memiliki kartu keluarga. Lebih baik

Ditinjau menurut pendidikan, pendidikan PNS lebih baik dibanding-kan pendididibanding-kan pekerja pada umumnya yaitu mereka yang berpendidikan ren-dah (SD dan SLTP sederajat) hanya 5,50 persen, sementara yang berpendidikan diploma dan universitas mencapai 76,98 persen. Dilihat dari ke-pangkatannya, 47,73 persen PNS ber-golongan III, sedangkan PNS Golongan I I hanya sebesar 3,40 persen.
