One day the commuter gets off work early, takes an earlier train home, and arrives at her station at 5:00 p.m. Instead of waiting at the station for her husband, who left home at his usual time, she begins walking home. She meets her husband driving along his route, gets in the car, and they drive home. They arrive home 20 minutes earlier than usual. How long had the commuter been walking?
