Kabupaten Kerinci terletak diantara 1o 40' Kerinci Regency is located between 1o 40'
Lintang selatan sampai dengan 2 o 26' South lattitude up to 2o 26' South lattitude
lintang selatan dan diantara 101o 08' Bujur and between 101o 08' East longitude up to

Geographical Location
1.Kabupaten Kerinci terletak diantara 10 40’ Lintang Selatan sampai dengan
20 26’ Lintang Selatan dan diantara 1010 08’ Bujur Timur sampai dengan
1010 50’ Bujur Timur.
Kerinci Regency was Located between 10 40’ South Lattitude up to 20
26’ South Lattitude and among 1010 08’ East Longitude up to 1010 50’
East Longitude.
2.Daerah ini beriklim tropis dengan suhu rata-rata sekitar 22 0 C.
This area has tropical climate with average temperature 22 0 C.
3.Kabupaten Kerinci mempunyai luas ± 3.808,50 km2 yang terletak di
sepanjang Bukit Barisan, d iantaranya terdapat gunung-gunung antara lain
Gunung Kerinci yang tingginya 3.805 meter dan merupakan gunung yang
tertinggi di Pulau Sumatra, serta danau-danau seperti Danau Kerinci dan
Danau
Gunung Tujuh, yang merupakan danau tertinggi di Asia Tenggara.
Kerinci Regency has ± 3.808,50 Km2 wide area located alongside
Mountain Range, among others there are Kerinci Mount which height is
3.805 metre, represent the highest mount in Sumatra Island, and also
Kerinci Lake and Gunung Tujuh Lake, representing highest lake in
South-East Asia.
4.Ketinggian Kabupaten Kerinci berada diantara 500 meter sampai 1.500 meter
dari permukaan laut.
