First of all, the writer would like to say thank to Allah SWT for the mercy and blessing that Allah SWT has been giving to the writer. Therefore, the writer could finish the final report. The writer also would like to express the warmest gratitude to the noble prophet Muhammad SAW. Eventually, this report is written as one of the requirements to finish Diploma III at English Department entitled
“Designing a Novella Script entitled ‘2000’”
The writer considers that this report still has a lot of insufficiencies and unintended mistakes. Therefore, constructive criticisms and suggestions are accepted for the improvement. DESIGNING A NOVELLA SCRIPT ENTITLED “2000”

This final report is aimed to design a novella script entitled “2000”. The purpose of this research is to find out the steps in designing a novella script entitled
“2000”. In this final report, the writer used the Research and Development Method modified from Sukmadinata (2005). The writer collected the data by observation and interview as a reference for designing a novella script and as to get information. The novella script was designed by the writer and then given to experts. The result of this research is that the writer made a novella entitled
“2000”. The writer has some suggestions. First, the writer expects the readers of this report to use this as one of the sources to continue developing new ideas in writing the final report about designing a novella script. Next, to the readers of novella that could develop their ability, idea, and skill to increase the creativity in making their own product.
